A little bit injured and their clothes dirtied, the three boys return to Utavilspur. When they arrive, they meet Michelle at the edge of the village. She tells the villagers what they had to do with rubbles of the houses. She hears footsteps behind her and turns around.
'Guys! You look horrible.' She says concerned.
'We're fine, we took care of the Hodag.' Shun says tired. 'How about the village? Looks like you've got everything under control.' Shun says when he took a look around. Michelle nods.
'The nymphs accepted our request. they put out the fire and went back to the lake. We started to tend to the wounded, gathered the rubbles, separating them and put them in one place.' Michelle responded. Ren looks around. And takes out his phone.
'Then let's call in some help.' He says.
Three hours later, some agents of Border from the Mid-United Continent came to help the villagers. The villagers were very cautious of them at first, but because they had to move heavy things like giant boulders, their teamwork made it, so the villagers lessen their cautions of the agents and some became friends. They worked until it was far in the afternoon. Michelle found a place with grass and without any rubbles. She lied down on the ground and sighed deeply. She stretches her arms, legs and back.
'ah~~~, I'm so~~ tired. Working from deep in the night 'till late in the afternoon.' She yawns. Michelle closes her eyes and feels the breeze of the gentle wind and the sun's light shine on her face. The sound of the gentle wind blowing through the trees making them rustle quietly sounds like a lullaby made by nature. So sleepy. She thought and started to doze off.
Ren throws the last giant boulder on a truck and pat of the dust from his clothes and hands. 'That was the last of it.' He says to the driver and the he drove off. Adalhard, the village's chief, came walking to him with his cane.
'Thank you for helping to rebuild our village young man.' He says. Ren smiles at him.
'No problem sir. Oh, I forgot to tell you. Now that we finished cleaning up all the rubbles, me and my team will be leaving the village this evening. We still have school after all.' Ren tells Adalhard. The old man nods.
'Again, thank you.' And he goes off to the infirmary tent. Ren also stretches and looks around. He then sees Michelle sleeping on the grass beneath a tree. He quietly walks to her and sit down next to her with his arms wrapped around his knees. He looks around and then takes a shyly glance at her face. Her face looks peaceful and a strand of her hair lies in her mouth. Ren smiles his always soft smile. So cute.He thinks. He moves his hand to her mouth to pull away the strand of hair. At that moment Kyle and Shun came walking their way talking loudly. Michelle begins to toss around a bit, showing Ren that she could wake up because of the noise. He quickly looks around him.
'And you know what Shun? She gave me this bracelet. Ah~ she's such a beautiful woma-.' But before Kyle could finish his sentence, a handful of dirt got thrown in Kyle's mouth. Kyle immediately spits it out. 'Gah, what the hell was that for Ren?' Kyle asks angry. Ren puts a finger against his lips and points at Michelle.
'She's sleeping. Can't you be a little bit quieter?' He asks. Kyle wipes the remaining dirt from his mouth.
'That's fine, but you could just have told me you know?' He asks.
'More importantly, shouldn't you be moving her to a bed or something?' Shun asks him. Ren and Kyle look at Shun speechless.
'Oh right!' Ren then said out loud.
Michelle blinks a few times. The scenery she remembered last seeing was that of a destroyed village where people worked together to clean up the rubbles. Now she sees across her some chairs, with a small window where she could see the sky through. She notices that something was laying on her. A blanket you get when you travel on an airplane. She hears footsteps coming from behind the curtains that leads to the mini kitchen in an airplane. Hands appears from behind the curtain. Shun came walking out. He turns around to close the curtains.
'Shun?' Michelle yawns. Shun turns around to see Michelle stretching her arms. 'Michelle, you're awake already?' He asks. Michelle nods.
'Are we on our way home?' She asks him as she rubs the sleep from her eyes. He nods and sits in his own seat. Michelle, more awake, notices the two other silhouettes sitting in the other seats across her. Kyle and Ren sleeping like little angels, although Kyle has some drool from the corner of his mouth and Ren's mouth hangs a little open, letting out quite sounds of snores. Shun pulls a thin blanket around him.
'It's best that you continue sleeping too. Missing too much sleep isn't good for the body. We arrive home in a few hours.' He says as he closes his eyes. Michelle blinks tiredly and leans back into her seat and pulls the blanket she had over her back on. She moves around a bit to find a comfortable pose and went back to sleep.
