3rd person POV...
Ying Yue struggled opening her eyelids, seeming as though thousands of pounds were weighing it down.
The small movement of Ying Yue's long, thick eyelashes fluttering open caused a woman by the side of her bed to fluster in panic as the woman fled the room yelling, "The young miss has awoken come help! Come help!"
The woman's yells became muffled in the distance as Ying Yue sat upright on the soft bed with a splitting headache.
Ying Yue examined the familiar yet unfamiliar room around her while rubbing her head. The room was painted light pink while the desk, couch, curtains, and bed sheets varied in different shades of pink. Everything in the room was basically pink, even the wooden planks on the floor.
Ying Yue scrunched her small face up in disgust as she thought, too girly. Way to girly. This room would definitely be a room she would've liked in the past because his preferences were girly, pure girls, but definitely not now.
She had never liked pink but instead preferred baby blue, only changing her preferences because she had overheard some young girls gossiping about him liking girls who preferred pink.
Widening her doe-like eyes upon realization, Ying Yue finally remembered why the room seemed so familiar.... this was the room she had when she was at a tender age of 12, the age when she had fallen in love with him.
Before Ying Yue had a chance to dwell on her thoughts, a figure came leisurely walking in and a pair of eyes sharply looked at her with disgust that got covered up as soon as she had seen it.
It was her father.
