The Bad Boy & The Nerd

Chapter One

"Hi my name is Kylie Brooks I am 17 and I have just recently moved to New York. I am not very confident but I always try my best. I am new at this whole big school thing. Because I was home schooled. " I sat down awkwardly while everyone clapped.

The bell rang. A huge wave of relief hit me. So i quickly packed up my stuff and ran out of class. Thank god it was last period.

Ariana Burns is my best friend. We drove together in my car. So I quickly slid into my car and waited patiently waited for her.

After about five minutes she came running to the car looking exhausted.

"Hey how was your day?" I said.

She turned on her seat to look at me.

"It was good I made new friends it was quite easy. I was worried for nothing. But I hate doing all these exams." She moaned.

I just smiled an turned up the radio. The rest of the ride home was quiet.

When we got home it was messy, since it was only Ariana and I living here. I went up stairs to my room. And grabbed some fresh clothes and had a shower.

Ariana was down stairs making dinner. She smiled at me "dinner will be ready in five." She said.

I went into the living room and sunk into the couch and turned to tv on. My favourite show was on.

"Kylie dinners ready" I groaned and got up.

We ate dinner peacefully and we watched a couple of movies and went to bed.

"Kylie wake up!" Ari yelled.

I blinked my eyes open but it was to bright. I groaned. "okay I'm up" I say In annoyance.

I was rushing threw everyone until I ran into someone. It was the school slut Ashley. "Sorry" I mumbled. "You better be" she said.

Today wasn't the day to mess with me. "I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't" I faked a smile an began to walk off. " Watch your mouth bitch" she yelled. I just stormed off down the hall ways.

The day dragged on for felt like forever. I was annoyed all day. Nobody else dared to say something me all day.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I heard someone say. I turned on my seat and it was the schools player. "No just shut up and don't talk to me" I basically yelled at him.

Thank god the bell rang I began picking up my books.. until Aiden the school player stood right behind me I could slightly feel him breathing on me.

I felt a shiver go down my spine. I turned around and tried to walk past him until he said something that caught my attention. "I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said before" he said with a apologetic look on his face.

I smiled. "You have a beautiful smile" he said. I froze.

Did Aiden Parker just say that I have a beautiful smile?
