"its hoseok! he's here!" jungkook's eyes shot open as he scrambled to get his pants on over his boxers. he put on a random shirt, which was probably clean. who knows?
"coming!" he yelled back, he smoothed his bed hair out and went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face,
after doing his morning routine, he grabbed his bag and ran down the stairs to see hoseok.
jungkook felt his heart pumping faster as he stared at hoseok.
he was dressed differently today.
he had shorts on paired with a polo shirt. the way the shorts wrapped around his perfect long legs, he felt his blood rush down there...
he broke out of his thoughts when their eyes both met, hoseok then broke into a huge smile.
thump, thump, thump
"happy birthday kookie!" he shrieked running towards kookie who in return smiled widely at hoseok
"thanks hyung!" jungkook said as hoseok hugged him tightly, jungkook inhaled his sweet scent.
"now you both better get going if you don't want to be late!" jungkook's mother yelled from the kitchen
"yes mom!" jungkook answered, hoseok held his hand out and smiled at jungkook.

"we're going to party like its your birthday!" hoseok yelled jamming in his car seat, jungkook who was driving smiled to himself at hoseok's cuteness.
once they got to school, students turned to look at jungkook's car to see hoseok dancing wildly his car seat, most of them chuckled while turning away. once jungkook had his car parked at its usual spot they both exited and hoseok grinned as skipped over to jungkook's side and held his hand.
suddenly a bunch of girls approached jungkook and hoseok shocking them both as they pushed some chocolates into jungkook's hands.
"happy birthday." they mumbled shyly, and giggled as they slowly ran away. jungkook blushed while looking down at the bear and chocolates
"you set them up didn't you." jungkook pouted, hoseok knew his fear of girls who he didn't know
"no i didn't i promise." hoseok said quite shocked and laughed a bit too
"aish, anyways i'm glad they did that and all but..." hoseok mumbled the last part making jungkook confused, as he was about ask hoseok dragged him into the school
"go put that in your locker." hoseok said, their hands were still entwined and at jungkook's heart could possibly could burst out at the speed its going.
"yeah." he mumbled, but the problem was how was he going to get his locker to open?
"oh." hoseok mumbled letting go quickly as he looked around. jungkook quickly put his things in his locker and grabbed hoseok's hand again. they both made their way to jungkook's first class together, hoseok brought their hands back and forth.
hoseok slid the door open quickly revealing the banner that was strung across the room
"happy birthday!" his classmates yelled popping their poppers, after they clapped their hands and jungkook slowly stepped inside with a grateful smile and bowed ninety degrees in every direction
"ah yah! why are you so formal kookie!" jackson said clapping the younger's back making jungkook smile shyly
hoseok was against the door his smiling reaching his eyes, he arranged all of this to make his eighteenth even more special.
his eighteenth was meaningful to hoseok since the younger can't celebrate his own birthday, he was forever stuck being seventeen. you can say he lived vicariously through others.
it was also the age where jungkook was more mature enough to know about hoseok's world.
why would he need to know?
because jungkook was hoseok's mate, it wasn't very unusual for a vampire to have a human mate it was very common in hoseok's world. the problem was, if jungkook didn't know that they were mates of course it would be awkward to suddenly initiate an affectionate action.
but it would affect hoseok greatly since they were mates and they would need to seal it without the seal hoseok's would grow weaker. it was possible that he could die, so from this day forth he had a time limit to confess to jungkook, to explain his messed up world.
he didn't know how we was going to confess, he couldn't exactly go up to jungkook and grab his arm and say
"oh yeah, by the way we're mates kook. i'm a vampire and in order for me to live we should seal our love for each other."
another problem was if jungkook didn't like him back, he would shrivel alone and die as a teenager.
he wasn't going to confess today of course, he was going to let jungkook enjoy his day.
the bell broke him out of his thoughts so he stood up and regained his composure.
jungkook turned around and ran towards to him
"thank you seokie!" jungkook exclaimed and grabbed jungkook into a hug, hoseok being so much shorter had his face in jungkook's chest.
"no problem, see you after school!" he said, after the hug he walked away sassily and looked back to throw a wink. hoseok being his usual self.
jungkook chuckled and waved.
