Austin

I hate this stupid town just as much as the rest of my guys. But there is one thing I can appreciate about it. Respect, or fear. Both work in the same way. Now, this girl thinks she can walk all over me? She's making me look soft. She's making me want to punch a wall. And on top of that Chandler is being an even bigger douche, telling me to let go of her, as if he's some hero. He's not. but now his face is here and it will hurt a lot less and be much more fun when I punch it rather than the wall.

"Come with me,"I growled storming out of the classroom. I was trying to keep my anger under wraps but all I want to do is pummel Chandler and his stupid annoying face. I turned when I heard the classroom door open and close. Chandler crossed his arms annoyed by me. He looked over down the hall and laughed through his nose.

"Really Austin you need to chill,"

"What?" How could he be so chill with her? "She needs to learn respect,"

"And you going to seduce her and do some kinky shit to her?" he joked. I hated that he could joke like that like we were still friends.

"Well I can ruin her reputation, Maybe a sex tape," I mused. He rolled his eyes at me.

"I doubt she would be dumb enough to have sex with you," He raised his eyebrows and leans back onto the wall. I sneered at him but I think he's right, hell he's always right. She doesn't fall for any of the tricks that keep all those girls swooning. In fact, she see's them from a mile away. I mean she is pretty. Like the prettiest girl to set foot in this school.

"look Austin just let her be, once she figures out the law of the land she'll obey your standoffs," he says it as if he isn't apart of them.

"Since when do you let girls step all over you?" I asked.

"Things have changed in the past year. I'm not a Fang like you. I'm Scorpion," He says point blank.

I try and cool my temper but suck at it. She was so weird and intriguing, she was laying down on her back taking pictures of the tree looming over her. I wanted to figure out what her deal was, and teach her to learn respect. I made my mind up and went over to her trying to radiate confidence.

"what do you want?" she asked me looking over at me with dull interest. I felt my jaw clench and my fist ball up.
Who the hell does she think she is.

"I want to know what is wrong with you?" I asked my voice humming with anger.

"I want to know how you have such a large ego," she looked at me with a smug look.
Seriously what is wrong with this girl?
"I see what this is," I started. "you wanted attention. look, I like a strong sexy girl just as much as the next but you really could do many different, more pleasurable things to grasp my attention," she snorted sitting up and looking at me.

"At least you have one redeeming trait, you're funny," she tossed her head back and sighed. "now I can't take pictures due to you being in my way,"
Honestly something must be wrong with her!

"look here you little-" I stopped myself as one of the scorpions came up to Rome. I'm pretty sure he was Chandler's second in command, Tobias. People always take about how great looking Chandler is but over the summer Tobias changed a lot. He was muscular in a way that was but wasn't imitating. His Raven Black hair was wavy and swooping, he had night sky blue eyes and angular yet warm features. Now I hear the girls swooning over Tobias.

"hey Rome," he said to her. I can see why girls like him, he is a lot nicer to everyone than most gang members.
"How do you know my name?" She asked accusingly.
"I listen," he seemed to wink without winking. I tried to ignore him. At least I knew her name now. Rome, it's actually really pretty. Fitting for her.
"Rome, huh?" I said putting my thumb under her chin and my pointer finger pulling down her bottom lip. She sneered throwing my hand off her face. "I really think you need to learn respect," I said having enough of this bullshit.
"I think you need to walk away," she stood up to face me. Even though I'm taller than her, she somehow looked down on me. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her body flush against mine. She pushed me off in disgust. I saw Tobias clench his jaw.
"Get away from me," she growled. I almost retreated. She wasn't playing. But neither was I.
"Let me make it up to you," I toyed, playing with a lock of her hair. It was soft to the touch and shiny. She pulled it out of my grasp and sneered once again.
"Dude just leave her alone," Tobias said.
"You want to fight Tobias? You got a death wish?" I huffed.
Both of them laughed in my face fueling my anger further.
"What?" I demanded.
"You got a death wish?" Rome mocked. She giggled pushing Tobias's shoulder while doing so.
"You want to fight?" Tobias chucked. "Dude you sounded like a 12 year old,"
"Shut up," I growled. That's all I could say, that's the only fucking insult I could come up with? What the hell is wrong with me today?
"Look dude, I'll get her out of your way," he acted like he was going to do me a favor.
"I can handle it myself, thank you," I snarled.
"Or you can stop acting like an egotistical moron and get on with your life," Rome offered raising her eyebrows at me. I clenched my teeth biting back words that she seemed to beg me to say. She was toying with me! Taunting me! Like I was just so crazy dude who needed a reality check! I'm not the one who needs to be taught something.
"Hey, Rome!" Another girls voice said. She seemed to frantically grab Rome and pull her away. She looked between me and Tobias with fear in her eyes.
At least this girl is sane, Hopefully she will rub off on Rome.
"Hey," She said looking back at us as if we were toddlers that might start crying at any minute.
"I need you now!" She lied. Rome was pulled away by the blonde girl.
Good riddance
"She really needs to learn her lesson," I heaved under my breath. Tobias snickered.
"What you need is to lighten up, she isn't doing anything, and besides it seems like she is trying to avoid you, so let her," he acted like he knew it all. But I couldn't let her be. She intrigued me too much. She angered me too much. And if she ruins my reputation she will be in for hell.
"Whatever scorpion," I said it like is was acid in my mouth. Foul and embarrassing, which that gang is. Pitiful actually. They don't even do much, besides iffy jobs on the bad side of town. And not even the young ones do that.
"See you around Austin," he waved as he walked off. This scorpion confidence is almost getting to me more than Rome. I rolled my eyes. My anger was getting to me and I wanted to punch something, anything. I tried to calm myself but I couldn't.
"Arrrrrrr!" I yelled.
