Chapter 4

I folded the paper and put it in my pocket. I sat on the bench and watched the clothes spin at an infinite cycle.

I heard the little bell ring, ting, announcing someone has arrived. I decided to ignore it since know one really pays attention on who comes into a laundromat.

Out of no where, a female's laugh killed the silence. Everyone turned their heads towards the loud noise and my eyes widened. It was him and a female. Well that female isn't some other female, she was a friend in our friend group but I don't really speak to her as much as I speak to Shiro.

But what is he doing here? Doesn't he have his own washer and dryer? Maybe it had broken and he had to use an alternative which is to come here. I shook my head trying to get rid of these thoughts about him.

Ignore it Keith, he's probably helping a friend out. Don't get distracted and focus on the cycling of the washer because that's fun, right?

I shook my head. Who am I kidding? I'm too heartbroken to even be out, I should've never left my house. I should of continue laying on my bed and listen to the most emo songs I could find on my playlist.

*Ring Ring*

Ah my phone, it's ringing again. It's been ringing every single day, every morning, noon and night. And of course,I know exactly who it is from.

"Hey Shiro, how are you?" I asked
"Oh wow Keith, you actually answered." Shiro said surprised.
I sighed, "Well you kept on ringing my phone so might as well pick up to know what you need, right?"

"Right," he responded, "I was just wondering how you are since um your break up?" Keith sighed, "Oh well I, for once am actually outside of my house so that's a big step."

I can sense Shiro's smile through the phone, it made me proud that I decided to make an effort into moving on. "Well I'm glad you're doing so. Well I'll have to help Adam with something, I'll talk to you later, bye Keith."
