Chapter 2
When we finished playing, my parents called me and told me that they were going out to the mall to buy something and would soon be home. As soon as they left, I went up to my room to rest. Then I heard my little brother and sister calling me to help them with their homework so I went to their room to help them. When I reached their room, they were seated at the bed waiting for me. Being a good brother, I helped them with their homework. After a few minutes, my parents were back. I went down to help them with their groceries. I was helping them when I saw a book in the groceries they bought. I got it and asked them who is this book for? They happily said that it is for me. “Oh my, Ma! You do know very well I hate books and I don’t like reading books.” They said, “just read it and we promise that you will like the book.” I blurted out, “Alright!” and went back to my room to tart reading. After 2 hours, my mom shouted, “Dinner time, kids!”
Mom asked if I have started reading the book and asked if I love it. “Oh yeah, I love it so far.” Then they asked me, “what do you mean by so far?” I shrug my shoulders, “because I just finished half of the book so far.” They looked at me and said, “ok.” After dinner, I went with my siblings to their room and we have a family movie night. While watching, my little brother asked, “ What’s happening? I don't get it.” No one answered him. So he just stopped asking. We just continued to watch and finish the movie. After the movie, my siblings went to bed so as my parents and me. The next day I woke up at 6:00 am and woke my siblings up to get ready for school. Immediately, they woke up and get ready for school. In a few more minutes, Mom called us for breakfast. We all went to the car after and waited for Dad to drive us to school.
