chapter 2

After hours of laughing and recalling our old adventures Riley gets a text on his phone. His bright happy smile fades into a dark frown as he gets up and walks out the room. I sigh happily.

"Man. Riley has definately gotten more...fit." I blush slightly then shake that off.

He walks back rolling his eyes.

"It was wanda. She wanted to get back together. I'm starting to think she only wants that trip to Hawaii."

I smile widely, "well that bitch best wait because there's a new one in town!"

I make a terrible attempt at a sexy move then look at Riley waiting for a response. All I get was a laugh and a gentle roll of his eyes.

"What a turn on. I might have to change my pants after that." He says in a really sarcastic tone and a look to match.

I laugh and hug him then yawn slightly after looking at my clock which showed it was well past midnight.

"Oh. When is this trip? I want to know when to pack."

Riley laughs and hands me a ticket which says that the flight leaves next week. I look at it in complete shock then look at buttercup.

"Ok. I'll call a pet hotel and put buttercup in for the duration of the trip."

Riley nods and heads to the door. He then turns and looks at me like he had something to say but bites his tongue and leaves. I smile and once the door closes I run around the house and pack a suitcase then run to the kitchen and write down how to take care of buttercup while I'm gone then look around and run some more.

"Buttercup help me!" I yell as I pack some of the food and toys but cant find some other stuff.

Buttercup sits in the hallway with his puppy passport to show he is a certified to to with. I smile then relax a little.

"Fine. You can come. Just no getting any bitches pregnant."

I wink playfully as Buttercup rolls his eyes and walks over then lays down to sleep.
