PRESENT (V)

CHAEYOUNG's POV

"Mina?" I mumbled.

"Uh yes, Mina. Anything wrong?" She looked at me with her confused self. I was embarrassed that she heard it.

"Oh-ahh haha nothing. I'm Chaeyoung." I hated it. I was stuttering so hard.

The reason why I mumbled it to myself, which I completely slipped into, is that I kept dreaming of her. I may sound very weird, but trust me, I know what I'm saying. I actually knew her already, she's one of those pretty girls who've been admired by almost everyone here. I'm not surprised though, she's nice towards me, nothing new. I've been dreaming of her, I'm pretty sure it was her. Exact name, exact face what more? That's why I acted kinda weird a while ago. I believe that we knew each other before, not sure when but my guts and myself was telling me.

"So what kind of dreams are you experiencing, Mina-ssi?" I asked as I tried to brush off the awkwardness between us.

"Nothing, I guess. Just like normal dream, like any other girls do." She replied.

I gave her the 'Ohhh' look. She didn't respond though. Instead, she looked away from me. She's trying so hard but I won't let her.

"So, uhm how about you?" She asked.

Finally.

"I've been dreaming about a lot of weird things." I replied.

"Really? What kind of weirdness?" She seemed so interested about what I've said.

"Oh, like I'm living like a decades ago..."

"It's like I've been in this world before... you know?" I added.

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's so weird. I'm having goosebumps right now." I jokingly said.

I'm sure that she said something but I wasn't able to hear any of it.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh-uh that's nothing."

Our teacher dismissed us after that. I went to the cafeteria first and waited for Sana. I brought my sketchbook with me because I hate the feeling of boredom. Minutes later, I saw Sana.

'Wait what? She's bringing Mina here?' I mumbled to myself.

Sana asked me to hangout with her yesterday, and I agreed to. Sana is one of my first friends here. We don't hang out a lot by now because we have different circle of friends. I didn't know that Mina was her friend though.

"Great! You two are here?"

"Mina?"
"Chaeyoung?"
We both said in unison making Sana to burst out laughing.

"Yah! You two know each other right?" Sana managed to speak while laughing so hard.

Mina and I just looked at each other.

'Aishh I hate this kind of feeling..' I whispered to myself.

"Yeah, we do know each other, right Mina?" I said.

"Uh yeah."

My phone vibrated, I quickly opened it and saw few messages.

Son Chaeyoung , you better attend our meeting right now!!

Yah where are you? God Jihyo was already here, you better go now.

'Sh— I'm so dead now.' I mumbled to myself as Sana and Mina were trying to puzzle out my expressions.

"So uhm guys, I'm going now. It's my thesis presentation today at the Science Hall. See you around."

They both waved at me.

"What about the plan, Sana?" Mina asked.

"Let's just give it a try tomorrow." Sana sighed.
