she was stretched too thin,
so much so that she couldn't tell
right from wrong.
the pain turned to numbness.
invading every particle of her body
until she couldn't breathe.
all she had was her thoughts.
and even those were unfixable.
could she blame herself?
she did. she was to blame.
it was all. her. fault.
