time passed.
the girl listened to the demons.
she didn't want to. but she did.
she was not worthy of love.
she was stupid. naive.
not worth the trouble. the effort.
they hissed in her thoughts. awful. spiteful things.
she believed them. wholeheartedly.
and what hurt the most?
she knew the others around her believed them, too.
