I Hate That I Love You (3/3)

Heres a Recap of what happened in the last chapter:

Richie came out of the water in deep thought about something. "Hey Y/N can we talk?" You got nervous and started thinking. "Oh no he is probably gonna hurt me for hitting him earlier!" When you looked up you realized that Kale had left you to go talk to, (Aka make fun of) Bill. "What do you want?" He was quiet for a moment. "Y/N I just wanted to tell you................"

(Present time)

Richie trailed of looking into the woods looking scared out of his mind. "Whats wrong?" You asked him quietly. He looked at you and pointed behind you. You slowly turned around and saw a really tall clown with a red balloon in his hand. The clown had this insane smirk on its face that made it look inhuman. (Richie: "Because it's not human Lizzy!" Lizzy: "I know that, but just for the story I'm writing it that way!" Richie: *Sighs* "Fine I'm gonna go mess with Kale." Kale: Stop right were you are you geek, You will leave me alone!" Richie: "Never!" *Starts to poke kale* Lizzy: "And here we see an Idiot messing with 'Fire' (See what I did there? No? I'll go) This is how Richie dies.") You backed up and grabbed Richies arm. "Richie what is IT?" Richie looked at you grabbing his arm. "I don't know and I don't like it." The clown came closer. "Don't you want to float?" It said in a screechy like voice. "We all float down here, You'll love IT down there with me the place is to DIE for!" You didn't realize it but you had started to cry. It lurched forward towards you and Richie exsposing its extremly sharp teeth. You let out a loud scream alerting the others who came over to see what was happening. They froze when they saw the clown. You clung to Richie's arm tightly. You had a secret you were terrified of clowns, but little did you know Richie was the same way. As soon as the clown appeared it disappeared. Richie wrapped his arms around you shoulder as you quietly cried. You had burried your face into his neck and sobbed. Richie gently rubbed your back making you calm down. After a few minutes you heard Bill speak up. "W-w-what w-was t-that?" Kale spoke up next. "I don't know what the hell it is but I'm not fucking messing with it." You and Beverly giggled at what Kale said. "What? I mean what I say." You let go of Richie, and turned towards Kale. "Kale can you walk me home?" She looked at Beverly with regret in her eyes. "I'll walk you home." You were startled when you heard richie offer to walk you home. "Thanks Richie." You both started to walk towards you house.

(Time Skip to the two of you walking alone)

"Richie......." You trailed off. "Yes what is it?" You took a deep breath. "Why are you so mean to me?" Richie looked startled. "What do you mean?" He laughed awkwardly. You gave him an 'Are you serious?' look. "You know what I mean Richie Tozier." He laughed and scratched the back of his neck. "Well you see I....um....well....Ugh!" You giggled at his frustration. He playfully glared at you. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to......" you trailed off when you got to your house. What you saw made you stop dead in your tracks. It was your parents being put in an ambulance. One of the police officers came up to you. "Are you the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. L/N?" You nodded. "I'm very sorry to say this but your parents have been murdered." You sway on your feet as you come to terms with what you just heard then you fell on you butt and started to cry.
(A/N this is what happened when I found out my grandfather passed away.) You felt arms wrap around you and hold you tightly. You knew it was Richie because you heard his voice whispering comforting phrases in your ear. "Wanna come live with me?" You felt numb from crying so much. "S-s-sure I j-j-just need to get some stuff." Richie nodded. "Of course i'll help you pack." After you got all of the stuff you needed (or wanted) you went to Richies house. You sat on his bed feeling empty inside. "Hey are you going to be ok?" You looked up and saw Richie looking at you. "I-i think I-i'll be fine." You started to think back to earlier when you had asked him why he was mean to you. "Hey Rich?" You felt him sit on the bed next to you. "Yes?" You looked into his big brown eyes. "You never answered my question earlier." He looked confused for a split second then realized what you were talking about and started to blush. Very quietly you heard him say, "Its because I really like you." You knew you weren't supposed to hear him say that but you did anyway. You grabbed his shoulders and turned him towards you. You started to blush. "Richie I really like you to-." You were cut off with soft lips on yours. You felt fireworks explode in your stomach and the two of kissed. "Y/N?" You looked at him. "Yes?" He looked you dead in the eyes. "Please be mine and don't leave me because I love you." You felt so happy. "I love you too."
