"Where are we going?" Calli asked for what seemed the millionth time. Pacience much? Of course not.
"It's a surprise like the last two-hundred-thousand-two-hundred-fiftyfive times." I replied dryly making her throw a tatrum.
"TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!!!" she said shaking me. And she wonders why I tell her christmas presents. Sighing I turned on the the radio and continued to drive out to my old place, way out, fairly close to my grandma's. I parked the car, a convertable that used to be my stepmom's and got out, walking towards a barped wire fence. It wasn't hard for me to open since I had been opening it since I was five. It took two seconds to get it open and drag it out of the way of my car.
After getting back in I started driving and started to listen ti Calli beg me to tell her where we we're going, since I've never shown her out here. Honestly I hate this place. But it's beautiful at the same place. But I still motherfucking hate it here. When I used to live in this shitty trailor house all my parents did was fight, and that was when my dad was home, which was barely ever.
Calli knows I hate my parents and haven't talked to either of them since my step-mom got custody of my when she devorced my dad. And now I'm back in this damned paster.
Yay me.
I drove a few miles past my old shitty home that was now decaying and looked like the plants and animals had taken over. I think that's when Calli realized where we were.
I could feel that determined look to get past that trailor house and I think she felt the automatic tension in the car as I did my best to ignore it as we drove past. I was driving with my left arm while my right arm sat on my arm wrist.
I felt her hand slip into mine as we continued past the barbed wire fence that surronded the area I used to consider my yard.
I let out the breath I was unknowingly holding as we drove past and finally reached the edge of our property with a smile. I got out the car with my lighter and walked over to a area that looked freshly mowed and had a purple blanket with lighter purple pokadots.
I can't believe Brittni remembered my passion for Gamzee Makara. I seriously love my best friend. I pulled out my lighter and little the four candles. Calli smiled and walked over to me, sitting down on the blanket and I sat beside, resting my head on her shoulder.
"I know you...umm... I know you don't like to talkk about it, but how long has it been since you actually got anywhere near this house?" Calli asked me.
"I haven't come out here since I was in fourth grade" I whispered softly, eyeing my hands. Calli kissed my temple, earning a small smile from me.
"Can I ask you something, love?" I questioned her softly. She gave me a quick nod. Pulling out the box from my bra(Oh bite me. It was they were the closest things). She immeditly sat up, the pieces starting to come together in her head.
"I've been wondering...We've been dating for years. And I know we only guauated a while ago, but I was wondering if you would marry me.." I told her, turning my body to face her's. I could tell she was forcing herself to calm down. Always got to keep your cool Calli, don't you.
"I'll marry you if you stop teasing my about the Zalgo and Masky lemon" she said smiling.
"So it's a yes?"
"Yes"
I smiled as she held out her left hand. I silently slipped the ring onto her ring finger before pressed my lips to her's tenderly. She kissed back, her arms wrapping around my arm as I slowly pressed her onto the blanket. She pulled away and said "If we're going to bang we are doing it in the car." she told me making me laugh and pull her up.
I blew out the candles, taking her hand and leading her towards the car once agian.
"That's it? We drove for an hour to get out here and your not going to feed me?" she asked with a shocked voice.
"There's this place in Crawford that has really good food" I told her and she automaticly perked up.
"You btter feed me" she told me making me smile as I opened her door.
"Can't imagine not feeding you, love" I replied as she got in. Seriously, I can't imagine her letting me not feed her, ever.
