AMBER'S POV:
Where am I? What happened to me? Why can't I open my eyes? Who is touching my hands and why?
These are a few of the many questions that popped into my head. I believe I was unconscious but not quite. Like I was slowly awakening from a deep sleep.
I just simply could bot wait for my questions to be answered.
ZION'S POV:
I couldn't focus. My mind was completely somewhere else. My lover, the only person that has ever understood me, is now lying in a hospital bed. She may not remember me when she wakes up. She may not remember any of us.
As these unpleasant thoughts filled my mind, tears began to fill my eyes. I couldn't fathom losing anyone else. Not again.
The doctor soon walked into they room, snatching me back into reality. He walked over and stood over Amber's bed and wrote down some things on his clipboard.
As soon as he turned to leave, Amber gave a slight groan as she slowly lifted her hand to hold her forehead. My face immediately brightened as my partner's eyes slowly began to open.
