CHAPTER 1

[Morgiana's POV]

Another crazy morning for me! Cramming to get ready for school even forsaking breakfast which is one of the most important thing a human should have during mornings especially me. But then I'm just really too excited to go to school because I'm bringing great news to my club members!

As soon as I locked my apartment door I dashed all the way to the Bus stop to catch the first ride and luckily I did!

After I entered the Bus I chose the seat beside the window because who wouldn't like this position right? And allow myself to think on how will I deliver this great news to them. I can't wait to see the joy in their faces.

By the way, my name is Morgiana Skye, 17 years old and currently living alone but for a good reason. Not that my father died on some unfortunate accident causing my mother to go insane as a result she didn't take the depression and ended up dying just like my father. Unfortunately, that is my parents fate. Pretty sad don't you think? Anyway I was still an infant that time that's why my grandparents took care of me and I'm really grateful for that, they didn't told me what kind of accident my father had and also didn't bother asking it, I just hope they are on a better place. Do I miss them? I don't know. Maybe because I didn't saw them and have no memories together. Like what kind of memory does a baby could have? Am I that apathetic? Guess I am.

Then I decided I want to live on my own that's why I persuade my grandparents when I was 15 saying I can take up a part time job, they were really hard at first but then I showed them that I can really do it and voila! They allowed me, on one condition. I'll visit them during Sundays as a custom. It's nothing much anyway besides I'd really do that without the condition because I'll miss them surely.

I pushed the buzzer to make the Bus stop and hopped off. At last I'm here! I scanned our school grounds and everything is the same, an old buildings with a field at the side while some students are playing soccer, some just strolling around and students running because maybe they don't want to miss their favorite classes. On the other side another building painted with sandy white for senior high students. That's where I belong. Just the same structure of buildings and a little touch of gazebos where students can slack off, date their boyfriend/girlfriend or just simply do not want to attend their least favorite subject. And the back of the main buildings you can see from the entrance our dome where special occasions are being held, you know the usual school activities. So yeah I'm studying at St. Luke Academy, welcome.

I rushed to our clubroom snaking my way into the students who're also going on the same way, this school is pretty crowded you know. A typical school where you can find bullies and the ones being bullied, delinquents, mean girls, geeks and nerds, campus crushes and the sort. I'm thinking school is like a battlefield where the strong ones will survive while the weak ones are being trampled on. So as for myself I'm just average. Just living my senior high life to the fullest.

Finally I reached our clubroom door and calmed my beating heart first because I was basically running on the hallway, I breathed deeply and smiled before opening the door.

"It's about time!" Lily uttered with an impatient look etched on her face as soon as she saw me and stopped on her tracks from working on some papers.

"We were waiting for you for almost half an hour President." Dawn said while folding the page on her comic book not bothering to look at me.

"Morgiana! What kind of news do you want to tell us!" Keith said cheerfully looking excited.

"It better be great you know." Timothy added while sitting lazily on one of the club room's mini couch.

They are my beloved club members and as you can see from the way they approach me they are so happy to see me.

"Okay guys! Calm yourselves first before I announce my news." I said haughtily as I make my way to the table and sat promptly on it.
