'Luke! You've arrived! Join us!'

I am now here at the underground headquarters where an important meeting will be held. We are gathered here to talk about an upcoming shipments of several cargo from a certain drug cartel in Mexico. I sat at the far end corner of the table and pour myself a drink. Sitting beside me is an old member of the syndicate, he is the current General of the Philippine National Police. I lit my cigar and waited for the meeting to start.

'I thought you wouldn't be here now, Luke.'

'I don't have any choice, Stan. We have to be here as part of this fucking shit.'

'How are you nowadays? You seems troubled, my friend.' he pat my back.

'I'm having further thoughts about what I've told you, Stan.'

Si General Estanislao Belarmino ang kaisa-isang taong close ko dito sa syndicate. We have been friends for almost a decade now. He knew my initial plan of leaving the syndicate.

'Alam mo ang mangyayari sa'yo at sa mga mahal mo sa buhay kung kakalas ka, Luke.' he whispered at me. 'The syndicate is not a cheap organization, you knew that so well.'

'I know Stan. But I am still determined to leave this shit behind. Gusto ko ng kumalas.' I empty my glass and pour another generous amount of black label in it.

'You're putting yourself in jeopardy, Luke. Think about it first. Hindi sa ayokong mawala ka dito but I am more concern on your life and the lives of your loveones.'

'I will find a way. I have to find a way. I want out, I shouldn't be here in the first place. Mali na masali ako dito.'

'Kung talagang gusto mong umalis, bakit hindi pa noon? Bakit pinaabot mo pa ng years if you really want to leave here?' I shake my head and lit a stick of cigar.

'You knew so well why I've preferred to stay here, Stan.' I downed the liquor and emptied my glass again. 'I still love her. I want to be with her again. I want to be with her forever..'

'Who? Athena?' he look in awe at me. 'Siya parin ba after all these years Luke?'

'She was, is and will always be Stan. The other women are just for past times.'

'Pag-isipan mong mabuti kung ano ang dapat mong gawin. You will make Athena's life more complicated and will bring her more closer to danger if you'll leave here and be with her.'

I shut my eyes tight and the vision of the only woman that captures my heart flashes in my mind. How she makes my heart skip a beat everytime she smiles at me, how she makes my mind paralyze everytime she kiss me, how she makes my system at ease everytime I feel her warm embrace. I miss everything about her. I fucking miss her. I miss her mesmerizing blue eyes, her captivating smiles, her sexy body, her sweet and sensual voice... Fuck! I really miss her badly!

After our meeting, I immediately left the underground and travel back to Manila. I didn't take the route going to my pad in Makati, instead I drive towards EDSA and made a turn going to Greenhills. I stop my car just a few meters away from a chocolate brown and cream colored craftsman style bungalow then check on my wrist watch. It is quarter to 8 in the evening. If my calculations and speculations are right, she's about to arrive anytime sooner. After counting one to thirty, a black with pink Kawasaki Ninja Big Bike stops at the pavement of the bungalow. Minutes after ay inalis na niya ang helmet niya, her light yellow blonde and curly hair appears. She's wearing a tight fit black jeans and lavander blouse, her black leather jacket is hanging at her right shoulder. After getting her things at the compartment of her motorcycle, she enters at a white low wood fence and walks at the pathway towards the bungalow. Noon pa man, she like adventure and the thrill it gives her kaya hindi na ako nagulat when I saw her years ago riding a big bike. Mas nagulat pa nga ako that she change her hair color even its style. Dati, black and straight but now it's light yellow and curly. When she was inside, I drive away from her home and straight to the main road. Pagdating ko sa pad ko ay agad akong naligo to freshen up then wear my white muscle shirt and black workout shorts. I grab my hand towel after wearing my workout shoes then walk towards the door, I went down at the 3rd floor of this building where a gym is located. After 2 hours of sweating and being toned, lumabas na ako ng gym.
