The Reason

You're doing something and Johnny sneaks behind you, moving your hair from one side of your neck and placing a kiss there. You can feel your whole body reacting to his warm lips pressed against your skin and a smile runs through your mouth. Then you turn around and looking into his eyes you see everything he feels; exhaustion, loneliness, pain, confusion, sadness and above all a longing desire to be loved. Just to be loved for what he truly, really is. You heart breaks and you start placing small kisses on his forehead, his cheeks, both his hands. You pull him in for a hug and make sure you tell him all the soft, comforting and encouraging things you can think of, to make him feel better. When you finally release from the hug and look into his teary eyes, you gently kiss each eye and tell him 'i love you and I will always be there when you need me'. And he knows you mean it with all your heart. Suddenly he realizes the weight in his heart has lightened up and his lips twinkle to form a smile. He finally feels better and you softly smile back at him glad that you're the reason.
