Johnny's sleeping and he looks so peaceful, a barely visible smile plastered on his face. You're lying still next to him, afraid to move and wake him up because it's the first time for ages you've seen him so relaxed and happy. You slowly and carefully lift your hand to move a piece of soft, dark hair that is falling upon his eyes but you stop in middle air and decide against it. There's absolutely no need to fix something that is already perfect. You realize you could just lie down and stare at him for eternity. After awhile you feel sleep is getting over you and just before you finally decide to get some sleep too you whisper quietly more to yourself than to him that you love him too much and you always will. When your eyes shut close Johnny's snap open and he smiles slightly, having heard each single word.He gently moves wrapping his strong arm around you and whispers 'As do I. Always have, always will.' quietly in your ear before he drifts off to sleep again.
