Today was a bright sunny afternoon with a cruise ship sailing through the crystal clear ocean with a destination that will take around three days to arrive.
Courtney's POV
Ugh.
Chris is such a jerk.
After being rescued from almost being sent to space in Owen's gas balloon,I take a quick shower to remove the stench from my body.
"Good thing the shower here is clean" I dry my hair and sit on my room in the cruise ship.
Owen bought this ship when he won in the first season.It actually came in handy when the island sank.All of us had been using it for parties but right now,we have to stay here.We decided that 3 people (of the same gender,of course) had to share one room and I was 'luckily' with Gwen and Heather.
The door opens and Gwen enters.She glares at me then turns and grabs the doorknob.
"Wait!" I exclaimed and grabbed her arm.
"What?Are you here to put me in third place again?" She rolls her eyes and shook off my hand.
"Please.Just listen." I pleaded and she sits down next to me.
"Make it quick."
"Okay." I take a deep breath.
"I know you are mad."
Gwen groans.
"Oh,you just noticed?"
"Gwen please.let me explain."
"Explain what?How you tried to be my friend?How you left me alone in the mine just to be with Scott?Or maybe the time you back stabbed me and placed me in third place on your list?" Gwen snaps and I can only stare at her with guilt.She noticed and apologizes.
"It's okay,I deserve that.Even though it was strategic, I just wanted you to know that I really had fun with you. And if you were to give me another chance,I promise it would be different this time." I try to speak more but some words won't come out due to nervousness.
