Hello! So, obviously, this was a mockumentary. I wanted to write something fun, brought on by someone's point of view. I wrote the whole thing in 1-2 hours, editing took place after I started reading it to family. It's not really horror, though, is it?
My name is Marni Harvey. I write for fun. Some of the things in the story are taken after real life situations, such as the skepticism and the believes (Jackson and his ill mother). I'm Australian, despite writing in American. It wasn't too hard.. I just had to research towns, roads and the states, Nevada and California, and the flora and fauna inside them. (And watch a LOT of Bigfoot documentaries to understand how Bigfoots live, walk, hunt and other).
So, people claim the Sasquatch is.. What.. Massive? Lol. The problem I had with this is that my mum told me they're a link, missing, of the mid-evolution of Apes to Humans. Sure, my problem with this is that evolution in a whole came from Chimpanzees to whatever the mid-humans were, to now us disgusting creatures. Anyway. Upon my mother telling me this, I had one raising question that itched- Why are they so big?
Chimps are half the size of an adult man. Adult men on average are 6''2, I believe. That makes them around 3'' to 4'' ft. So, in evolution, why does our ANCESTORS range from a massive height? Yeah, okay, a good example is Wolves. You have Chihuahuas that, not too long ago, resembled the Grey Wolves or North America. Fair point, invisible man. But that was caused from inbreeding, wasn't it? Getting the grossly-deformed puppies, breeding them with other grossly deformed puppies and to create these. Would that result in the Sasquatch being inbred? Sure. Others would argue, 'But wouldn't all the Bigfoot evolve? Older humans obviously evolved!' Pity on you. Not all chimps have evolved? Humans haven't evolved into Aliens? Yet. So why would all Bigfoots evolved? And no. Previous humans have died. Cavemen. Died in the meteorites. I did research.
But I still wanted to post the theory that Sasquatch are still human height. Which makes it easier for them to sneak around, uncaught and unnoticed. (:
I hope you enjoyed :D.
