Richard had awoke from his sleep mode before gavin. He sat there with piercing eyes watching gavin sleep but he knew that Gavin would awaken soon so got up and decided to explore his room. Richard scaned the room and noticed a old picture on top of his drawer.

Sorry for terrible art ok back to story
The photo was 14 years old it seamed to be his mother in the photo and a younger Gavin to be exact they were happy in the photo his mother was 48 and gavin was 22. It was strange because he couldn't find anymore info on his mother besides her age and name she was completely blank like someone messed around with the rest was either hidden or to not be seen.
He turned around and scanned another picture but for some reason he couldn't get any information out of it.

It seemed to be two young boys taking a picture together the only information he got out of it was that it was tooken 2016 June 4th. Richard wondered why Gavin had these pictures on his room where these family members? . But before he could scan more Gavin had already awoken.
"Mmh hey refrigerator...get me a coffee would ya" he asked with drowsiness filling his voice. " I advise that you shouldn't keep drinking coffee it's not very good for your health especially for your age Detective reed" he said while moving away from the picture hoping Gavin wouldn't notice. Gavin replayed childishly smacking his lips "you fucking suck" Gavin slowly got out of the bed to brush his teeth his breath had stank with alcohol.
Richard watches Gavin got up and almost tumbled and fell but luckily Richard was there to catch him. " hang on detective Reed I will take you to the bathroom and leave you to do your business privately" But Gavin only replied with a grumble.
After Gavin brush his teeth and wash his face he went to his kitchen and get some coffee but he was shocked to see the coffee was already waiting for him " Gavin in your coffee is ready just the way you like it dark with three sugar cubes come on we will be late for work are you sober enough to drive your car?" Richard asked with worry and his tone

" yeah yeah I'm sober I got a mean headache though.. anyways what is our case for today?" he said while walking over to his car and opening it and made a lazy attempt to hop into the driver's seat. " yes our case for today will be a long one actually we will be working to find where Red Ice is coming from it will take weeks and probably months a year probably"
Gavin froze the word red Ice brong back horrible memories. "..yeah lets go.."
Gavin and Richard arrived at work on time actually it had shocked Fowler and everyone else at the office. " Anderson you son of a bitch you stealing my cases!" Gavin had yelled he was still pissed at Lieutenant Anderson even though it was partly not his fault. " not stealing anything from you as if I want anything that you have besides it's no point to be pissed about it Fowler has moved the four of us to work together on a red ice" Hank resorted casually.
At this point Gavin wanted to die "so you're telling me I have to work with you and your mechanical crackhead bad enough I have this fucking refrigerator?!!".
''hey don't call my fucking son a crackhead you fucking Goomba '' Hank hissed out in irritation '' oh for fuck sake take a good look at him like what even is that shirt'' Gavin said while pointing at Connor.

''he's adopted okey!'' Hank said while rolling his eye's '' i think i look swell north suggested i should wear this shirt at the mall the other day'' Connor said happily and Gavin face palmed ''you'er fucking hopeless''.
Gavin said while walking away hoping to be free from the Anderson's shenanigans but was scared out of his mind when Richard had touched his shoulder ''fuck transformer you nearly scared the shit out of me!!''.
Gavin yelped while glaring at Richard '' my apologies reed but we really need to be working on the case and not nagging with the Anderson's right now understood?'' Richard said while holding out files ''yeah yeah come on toaster lets go and same for you guys to mr.krabs and no gag reflex!'' chuckled out the last part while shaking his head.
Connor ran up the the both of them with excitement and glee '' this is going to be the best road trip ever!'' he said while running around in circles Gavin rolled his eyes and tried his best to hide his smile .
