Perfect date

This is probably awful because it's 6:30 in the morning and I'm writing . All spelling mistakes are mine and auto correct .

Alec woke up and was getting ready for the day that laid a head of him . He was excited , happy and nervous as usual . Once ready he went straight to his office to begin his daily routine . While Jace , clary and Isabelle took care of some smaller demon on 5th Avenue he decided to stay behind this time . He took out his phone to text Magnus a quick text about later and continued on with his day .

Magnus received a text from his Alexander about the date they had set up tonight letting him know that he will be there by 8 and telling him they were going to taki's for dinner . Magnus was so excited he smiled all day he just couldn't explain why he felt like this . Alec was different from other nephilims he had meant he just knew he was the one . Magnus went on to help a couple of clients . Summoning a few demons , making some potions and casting a few spells and by the time he was done he realized he had an hour before Alexander would arrive .

  Alec had just finished his final pile of paper when he looked up and seen the time 7 that means he has an hour before picking up Magnus for taki's . Alec ran to his room changed into a nice black suit with a black tie . Taki's rally didn't require it but he wanted to look nice for Magnus .

Magnus just finished putting on the last of his jewelry and looked in the mirror to do some finishing touches to his makeup when he heard the buzzing of the bell to let him know someone was there . He went to the buzzer and asked who was down there and Alec had replied so Magnus let him up . Magnus started getting nervous before he heard the soft knock on the door . He took a deep breath and began to open the door .

  Once Magnus open the door Alec couldn't stop looking at the man in front of him . He looks so beautiful with a black leather jacket with sparkles and red shirt black pants . Hair spiked with just the right amount of makeup . He looked stunning and Alec didn't realize he was holding his breath until Magnus asked if he was okay . All Alec could do was shake his head and say yes . He took Magnus hand and began leading him on the way to taki's.

They walked in a comfortable silence and just enjoying the presence of each other . Once they got in front of taki's Alec open the door for Magnus and pulled his chair out for him . Alec was being the perfect gentleman and Magnus was over the moon he has never been treated with such kindness .

  Once both were seated the waiter brought over some menus . They both looked it over and ordered what they had wanted . Magnus started speaking first to Alec . So I'm happy you asked me out , in all honesty I never expected you would do it I thought I would have to bribe you at some point . Alec just looked at him laughed and blushed . I'm sorry it took me a while to work up the courage to ask you I was just so nervous and every time I went to call you to ask I just couldn't I wanted to ask you in person . Magnus smile at this he couldn't believe Alec had been working up the courage to ask him out for a while now .

They continued talking until the waiter came out with their food they had ordered spaghetti. Once they finished eating they continued talking some more . Magnus May I ask you a question . Magnus looked up after whipping his face and said sure . Alec cleared his throat and said you have lived threw decades of war , you have seen the unimaginable how is it that you still come out happy and caring . If I had gone through what you have I honestly don't know if I would have survived. Alexander , I have lived a very interesting life . I have loved or so I thought I have cared and with in that caring I found happiness . I take the down worlder under my wing . I help them when needed , they have become my children and to be honest they are what keep me going . Knowing that they are okay that I have saved or helped them that's what it's all about .

Alec smiled because honestly that was the sweetest thing he's ever heard . This beautiful man was so caring and loving it warmed his heart . He couldn't be happier with who he was destined to be with . The angels knew what they were doing . Yes Magnus was a warlock which was half human and half demon but for some reason the angels gave him a chance because they brought the two of them together .
