MIKITA

I learned to drive at age 11 but my mom only let me drive around the neighborhood we stay in a gated community in Detroit my mom doesn't have a job so I'm guessing Mr.Salvatore pays for everything

As I'm driving I see a poor old lady asking for money but people in Detroit are mean sometimes so I do a U-turn and park by a curb and take out $70 for the lady I put it in her hand .

"Oh my dear thank you! Thank you! Thank you! May you be blessed and only good comes your way." She says

"Your very Welcome stay humble." I say then go about my way

I stop across the street from the grave yard and see a man standing by my dads grave he looks about 6ft from behind he turns and walks to his car where there are men with black suits waiting before he gets in I see a glimpse of his face and was shocked.

"Leonardo Salvatore" I whisper what is he doing he's a day early and why is he visiting my dad I feel anger in my body "how dare he come to my fathers grave when he's the very reason of it all." After his car is completely out of sight I jog to my fathers grave to see there is a red rose with blood on it what sick game is going on.

I sit for two hours just speaking my mind when I'm here with my dad I let all thoughts out this is the only place I can do that I say my goodbyes and head to McDonald's yeah I know is bad but when I sneak out I always go to fast food restaurants because my mom doesn't allow me to eat food with a lot of grease on it.

"Welcome to McDonald's what can I get for you?" Some lady says.

"Yes may I have a McDouble, small fry, snack size Oreo McFlurry and a small lemonade please." I ask

"Sure will that be all ma'ma" she ask

"Yes" I say

" okay your total is $6.45 please pull up to the window"

I pull up give the lady the money and go to the next window and get my food after I get my food I park my moms car and eat I can't risk her finding out I throw away my trash and head home .

Pulling up to the gate I type in the pin and go home I park the car and unlock the front door just as I'm unlocking the front door I see my moms bmw around the corner so I hurry and get in the house and throw water on my face and body to look like sweat.

My mom walks in the house, for her age she looks really young she's light skinned and slim just like me but I'm tall and she's around average height she's like around 5'6 when I'm around 5'10 I know tall right.

"Mikita pack your things for tomorrow turns out your leaving in the morning Mr.Salvatore had business down here and came early."

"Yes ma'ma" I say , my mom looked a bit off why was she wearing makeup she never put that stuff on she always said no need to cover your beauty.

I went to my room and packed all my important things like pictures and clothes then my mom walked in.

" baby I'm going to miss you I want you to no I will always love you here I got you a drivers license a Victoria Secret card and some other things women have in there wallets." She handed me some cards.

"Mom will I ever see you again" I ask this makes me sad

"Only time will tell Mikita just promise me you will play your part and make me proud."

"Of course yes I promise I love you mom."

"I love you too go get ready for bed" I never saw me mum cry but she's doing it right in front of me should I be worried should I be scared what's going to happen to her when I'm gone. I do my night routine and get in bed I look at my fathers photo and kiss it. "Good night daddy" I say.

When I wake up my whole worlds going to change and I just no it.
