As Callie was introducing us me to Axel and her brother Brandon. I tend to only lock eyes with Axel. He had this type of vibe that really intrigued me. He had this cool edgy style that also had a classy side to it. He whore black skinny ripped jeans with black converse. But then he wore a black leather jacket giving this biker vibe. Because under the jacket he had a white T-shirt. His hair had a cute messy look to it. It was wavy and pushed back to the side. He also was pretty fit and a big muscular but not too much of it but just enough to tell that he works out sometimes. He had beautiful green eyes with a bit of hazel by the center. His hair was a dark brown color. "And Axel this is Kathrine." he smiled shook my hand. "It's very nice to meet you Axel." I said with a smile on his face. "It's very nice nice to meet you too Katherine." he said with a charming smile. But there was something that really caught my attention. And that was his voice, he had that deep handsome British accent that you would only hear in movies. It was graceful and smooth like honey. It was almost too perfect to even think that that's how he actually talks. "Alright so who's ready to hear Kathrine sing?" Callie said getting me out of my thoughts. "Yeah I'm like ready to sing, let's do this." I opened the for everyone and let them in. Oliver was the last person walking in and held the door opened for me. "In you go!" he says holding the door open for me. I shoot him with a smile and stepped into the bar. "You didn't have to do that for me you know." I told him as he was stepping into the bar. "I know but I was trying to be kind, after all ladies first right?" he said walking next to me. "Yeah I guess you can put it like that." I said shyly. We caught up with the group. "Alright guys I gotta go you can choose whatever seat you want." "Ok that's totally fine, good luck up there. I mean you're already great but hey it's worth it." Callie said. "Yeah you're very much correct Callie." I walk away from the group and got ready for my performance. (Now on Axel's side of the story.)  Katherine was a very interesting girl to me. Katherine is a bit of a shy person. But I feel like once you would get to know her, she would show more of herself. She seems to be nice, and I also think she pretty. The color of her hair is very unique and something i have never seen before on people. It like a dark red with hints in brown it. And she has this smile that shows she happy yet in some type painful emotion like if she were to be struggling with something at home. She dressed like if she isn't expressing herself. It's like something was holding her back from not being herself. "Callie, forgive me but who's your friend again?" I asked her. I know her name but I wanted to get to know a little know from another person. "Her name is Katherine, why do you ask?" Callie wondered. "Oh, well she seems nice. What's she like?" Callie gave me this look like if she knew why I was asking about Katherine. "Well she's nice but she can be shy sometimes. She can be really fun to mess around with once you get to know her." Callie gives me this questioning look. Suddenly slow 1950s type of music starts to play. Katherine's up on the small stage adjusting her microphone. Then she slowly takes off her coat and tosses off to the side of the stage. Leans in close to the microphone and starts to sing. Her voice is low but graceful. The singers back her voice up with a soft humming sounds that oddly sounds good. Soon her as she gets closer and closer to the chorus part of the song her voice start to get higher slowly but surely. The more she sings the more I fall for the way she sings. It's such a unique vocal range she has. I never seem to hear anything like that before. About a few other songs later she takes a break and let one her background singers sing. "I will be right back you guys I'm gonna go get her." Callie says as she disappears into the crowd. I turn to Brandon and smiled. "That Katherine girl has a good voice." I said looking back at the stage she was on. "Yeah she's got talent. But the one thing about her is that her parents don't even want her to sing. Or do anything with singing." I was shocked at what Brandon said but was eager to know more. "Why don't they want her to sing?" I asked out of curiosity. "Well her parents don't believe in her becoming a singer. They thunk it's unprofessional. Or whatever that means." now I was really in shock her parents must be insane. "Seriously dude, why can't they just be supportive for her?" I asked. "It's just how things went for her. They are forcing her to become a lawyer." Brandon said looking down his drink. "She doesn't deserve that kind of respect. She's talented and deserves to be in the spotlight." suddenly Callie and Katherine appear from the crowd. "Hey guys, we should go get some food who's in?" Callie asked. "I'm coming!" Brandon said. "I will come too." Veronica said as she tags along. The two (Katherine and Axel) were left alone at the table. Awkwardly sitting in silence. "You did really good up there." I said to break the silence. "Thank you so much!" she said with a smile. "It was honestly one of the best performance I have ever witnessed." she smiled and blushed. "Thank you so much! I really appreciate it." she said with the same smile. "Yeah your welcome, did you ever think about starting to a career like this?" her smile suddenly turned into a frown. "Well, I'm mean that sounds like a nice thing to do. But my parents already don't know about this. And i feel like no matter how great that sounds I just can't. My parents will do anything to stop living my dreams." I look at her feeling bad for her. "Why cant you just tell them to not control you. I mean your how old?" she giggles a little before she answers. "I'm turning twenty soon." "Yeah, I feel like your parents should just let you be. I mean you've got a good job right now right?" she nodded her head agreeing with me. "Yeah I'm happy with what got right now." It went really silent again. Until she hit me with question about me. "So, are you visiting here?" she asked. "Basically, I'm on tour here." she gave me a strange look. "So I'm guessing you're singer aren't you?" she asked. "Yeah, I'm in a band actually. Its called Paradox. And yeah we are touring around here. We actually just started tour." (now on Katherine's side) "Wow that sounds pretty sick. Tell me about it." The whole time I listen to the history about the Paradox band. How they got together, crazy moments, how it's like at a concert, and of course the fans. We talked and talked for while and sooner or later I started to warm up to him. As the night end we said our goodbyes. It was all event less till the morning. I woke to get ready because my sister was coming back to town, and we had a family photo shoot.
As we were walking out of the house. My mother stumbled on a bouquet of flowers. "Katherine get over here now." Mother said as she was waving me over. "I'm coming mother!" I walk over shoving my my phone in my purse. "What is this?" she said pointing to the flowers. I look at the beautiful bouquet of roses and violets. "I'm not sure, I wonder who did this." I pick up the beautiful flowers from the ground.  Pink Roses and violets. They looked young, and they were full of color. The flower combination was unique. Pick a little card from the bundle and examine the note. I read to myself: meet at the Vintage 50s bar. At 7:00. I was confused to who would write this note to me.
"I will bring these in house really quick." I told my mother. On my way out I shoved the note in my pocket. And looked around out of curiosity. Maybe the person is still there. Callie's how is right next to mine Callie was helping her mom garden. Her brother mows the lawn. But the don't seem suspicious. The question of who delivered the flowers lingers in my head as we drive to our destination.
