Not Apart For Long

  (Your POV)

  "Garroth, c'mon! I'm not leaving forever!" I promised him as I accepted his embrace. The ship had dropped us off to our city about twenty minutes before, and my uber was going to be there in a minute or so. Garroth finally let go.

  "I know..." he sighed, drooping his head.

  "Don't act like a child!" I told him jokingly. "I'll visit you, 'kay?" He nodded as my uber arrived at the docks. "Oh! I gotta go. Bye everyone!" I waved at everyone as they all turned to me and said bye. I quickly hugged Garroth and my brother and got in the car. I greeted the driver and as we started moving, I rolled down the window and waved once more.

  (Time Skip)

  (Garroth's POV)

  "What... happened?!" Aphmau screamed.

  "Our houses!" Laurance and I yelled. Our houses... exploded.

  "Oh, we thought you all left." the crazy guy stated, scratching his beard.

  "Well we obviously DIDN'T!" Aaron barked. (Hehe, barked.)

  After a lot of yelling, the guy said that they're building a new neighborhood which will be finished in a few weeks, and we can stay there and for a very low price since, ya know, they destroyed our houses. We agreed, seeing as we didn't really have any other choice. Then I remembered something. "Wait, before you leave!" I called out to the guy. He turned around to face me. "I have another friend, and she needs a better house. Could she stay in her own house in the new neighborhood as well?" I offered.

  "Hmm..." he thought. "Sure." he agreed simply as he ran away. I smiled in accomplishment.

  We all decided to go to a nearby café to eat and discuss where we could stay for the next couple weeks. We were all pondering for a while until Aaron basically jumped out of his seat. "(Y/N)!" he exclaimed. "Why didn't we think of her earlier?"

  "Well," Aphmau started, "I did think about her, but she told me that she lives in a small apartment, and there's..." she paused as she counted us, "ten of us, including (Y/N)."

  "Ehhh, I'm sure she won't mind." he brushed it off while pulling his phone out and dialing a number. It rung a couple times before someone answered. "Hey, (Y/N)!" There was a pause. "I'm good, you?.......Yeah, kinda. I need to ask you a favor... Our houses kiiiinda exploded, and we need a place to stay for a couple weeks. Can we stay with you?...... Thanks Lil' Sis, you're the best! Bye!" he finished, hanging up the phone.

  "What did she say?" Travis asked.

  "She said that we could stay!" Aaron responded happily.

  "Aww, she's the sweetest!" Aphmau chimed. "Oh, you forgot to tell her we got her a house!" she pointed out.

  "Oops... Well, I guess it'll be a surprise for her when the time comes." Aaron said. I didn't say anything at the time, but I was really happy. I would be able to see her more often.

  "Where does she live anyway?" Katelyn asked.

  "Hmm.. she lives about forty-five minutes away by car. Let's finish our food and then we can start heading there." Everyone agreed and we continued eating our lunch.

  (Your POV)

  I was laying on my bed watching youtube on my phone when Aaron called me. I sat up and answered the phone. "Hello?" I asked.

  "Hey, (Y/N)!" I heard Aaron's voice greet me happily over the phone.

  "Hi, Aaron! How are you?"
