you sit on your porch, sniffling.
the steam of your warm tea wavers as a gentle breeze attempts to wipe the tears off of your face.
the cold summer night had gotten to you, it whispered to you about all of your insecurities, about how you don't have your life planned properly or about how your friends didn't need such a liar- it taunted you with all of its might, the seemingly never ending darkness made sure to glare you in the eyes and tell you how worthless you are.
the blooming flowers tilted down a bit, as if ashamed of how they could not do their role of making you happy.
more tears flowed down your face as the darkness ridiculed you once more, telling you about how worthless you are, getting upset over such trivial things.
oh man, life sure did have its dark moments,
the darkness will always be there, hiding in the very back of your mind, telling you your insecurities as if it were trying to fuel the day of bestowed eternal darkness to speed up and take you quicker.
oh how you wish you weren't so weak or trivial. . .
