Light & Darkness

Prologue

I want you to picture a long, bricked tunnel.

That's it.

Pretend you're right at the mouth of it, looking into the distance.

Don't think too hard on it, allow the picture to form naturally.

Now, I ask, what is it you see at the end?

A light?

Darkness?

A train?

Loved one, perhaps?

I'll tell you what I see.

The ocean. A beautiful body of crystal clear blue water. And it calls to me, the purest most raw song I've ever heard.

But see in this world, whatever we see at the end of a tunnel matters not. What does matter is the journey to the end of it.

So friend, come along and follow me, as I travel further into the bricked tunnel better known as life, facing beings and obstacles a normal girl could never.

But as you already know, I'm no normal girl. And no tunnel is going to daunt me because I am Melody Hope Saunders and I, Queen of Enchantment, fight in the name of Light and write my own destiny.
