A lonely man wearing a tan sweater with sweatpants walked through the gloomy garden. No sun was seen in the sky. He was heading to the place he hasn't been in a while.
All the memories of his late best friend, Kara flashed before his eyes. Tears prickled at the corners of his eyes, threatening to fall. A certain flashback replaying.
"If I told you I love you what would you do?" Kara asked as she fumbled with her long sleeved light blue shirt.
The man laughed, "I love you too! You're my best friend!"
Kara looked down, "right!" She yelled at the floor. The man jumping at the yell.
She giggled as she raised her head up, "you're right! Haha! Now I need to get home, my mother is waiting for me." She smiled as she squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to let the tears fall.
"Oh...alright." the man mumbled as Kara turned and ran off.
The man let out a long sigh, "I thought her mother wasn't home?" He said to no one as he walked back home.
"You moran!" He yelled as he fell to the ground grabbing his chest. The tears now falling out.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry!" He yelled as he got up and ran to the one place he hasn't visited in 2 years. Her grave
As he ran he couldn't get her smile out of his head, tears kept falling.
He passed all the graves until he saw the one he needed to see, his running slowing down. He walked slowly to it, falling to the dirt patch, as he soon reached it.
The tears fell and fell not stopping. "I...I-" his voice breaking as he couldnt get the words out.
He took a deep breath and said the words he realized after a year of her death...
"I love you, Kara!" He yelled at the grave. "I'm sorry! I should've told you earlier but I'm so stupid! I love you so much! Your not here now..." His voice breaking as he got more quite with ever word.
"I love you..." He said as he hugged the stone, then gave it a kiss.
He wiped his tears, "I love you so much!"
He walked away into the distance, never to be seen again.
He found love to late, at the wrong moment, where it wasn't supposed to be.
