Pokemon Ranger: The Quest of Time

A new beginning

"Hold still Minun!" Water splashed everywhere as I was wrestling the little blue pokemon in the bath tub. From the corner of the sink watching from a distance, Plusle snickered as he watched his friend.

"Ya'know it wouldn't have had to be this way if you were a little more watchful! You deserved what you got when you accidentally kicked that Skunktank in the face!"

I poured more shampoo and soap on Minun. After about a long 5 minutes, he started to smell a little less disgusting and I dried him off. When I finished drying him he looked like a big fluff ball.

"Alright I think it's time you both went to bed!"

I carried both Plusal and Minun out of my bathroom and into my bedroom. I sighed as I looked out at all the unpacked boxes laying on the floor.

"Ugh."

My mom and I just moved from the Kanto region to Almia. Tomorrow I'm supposed to start the Pokemon Ranger School here. Let's just say I'm not looking forward to being the new girl...again. My mom has been constantly getting different jobs around the regions as an Operator and hasn't stayed with one of them. Unfortunately that means I get dragged around and have to start a new life about every 8 months. I sat on my windowsill and gazed across the forest around me. Outside my window in the pine tree next to me were some sleeping Starly. I looked out and on the forest floor and there were a couple of zigzagoon chasing each other around a tree stump. Spinarks were creatively designing their webs. Everything seemed to be at peace and perfectly normal. But that's not what I live for. I live for excitement and some action. That's what's great about being a Pokemon Ranger. Except the fact that not a lot of crazy stuff ever happens. I looked down at my sleeping partner Pokemon in my lap. I stroked both of them behind their ears and I slowly closed my eyes listening to the soft fall and rise of their chests. I did a quick little prayer to Arceus and I let sleep overcome me.

A/N Hey guys here's a pokemon ranger fanfic for ya! Sorry that this chapter is really short but I just wanted to get this started. And sorry this is really poorly written but aren't all first few chapters? Well read and review!
