[PART 2]

wonho was informed that hyungwon was in the hospital after school ended. he was going grocery shopping, he hadn't started yet. he planned to get food for dinner and foods for upcoming days.

but his phone was quick to interrupt him.

"hello?" wonho said into the phone as he wondered through the cereal aisle. he searched the shelves and calculated prices in his head, he's that kind of person.

he heard a shaky breath before someone spoke. "wonho? it's the principle."

"oh, hello, what's up?" he was confused on why they called him personally but he figured it was something about class or sports that he needed to know about.

"hyungwon...him and his mother are in the hospital. we contacted his known friends, to make sure they knew."

wonho choked on his words. "...wh-what happened?"

"he got into a car accident with his mother," she inhales. "if you can, please hurry to him."

"okay, i will." with that he hung up the phone, very concerned and nervous.

"but i have to get one thing."

"kihyun...lets go." jooheon says, kihyun quickly stands, putting on his backpack and walking with jooheon next to him. they had just received the news of what had happened, and they are both extremely nervous.

the two board into kihyun's car, setting their stuff down in the back.

the car ride was silent, the two were too nervous to have any type of conversation. the radio silently played a popular pop song, probably Dua Lipa, but neither had the energy to sing along. they loved hyungwon so much, they're like siblings to him, and they would never want something bad to happen to him.

eventually everyone but wonho was at the hospital, they were all waiting outside except hyungwon and they were unable to see him. this didn't help them, they wanted to know if he was okay or not, and no doctor had said anything about it to them.

minhyuk and changkyun were crying, jooheon had his boy wrapped in his arms and was kissing his head gently. he was cooing soft and reassuring words into changkyun's ear. no one had ever seen changkyun cry before, he only cries when something has happened to someone he loves dearly. jooheon was trying his best to make his baby stop crying, but changkyun could not stop. minhyuk has kihyun on his side rubbing his back, minhyuk didn't have anyone to have hold him. he wanted it though.

it was another 3 hours until the doctor had the left the room to meet the 4. changkyun had fallen asleep in jooheon's arms, but jooheon shook him gently to wake him.

"you can come in now. whisper though, hyungwon is in a bit of a panic because of how traumatizing the crash was." the doctor explained, leaving all of them in relief that he was alive. "his mother is unconscious though."

they all look at him with frowns, before entering the room and seeing hyungwon laying in his bed. hyungwon notices them walk in and he gives a grin, happy to see his family.

"hi won, how ya feeling?" minhyuk says and rubs the younger's head gently, in which hyungwon shuts his eyes softly.

"tired, but also worried. my mom is unconscious.." hyungwon says as he looks at his mother's sleeping body next to him. the others look at her with concern.

"we're sorry won. i wish i could've taken your place." changkyun says, tearing fall from his eyes again.

hyungwon feels his heart break a little at the sight of changkyun crying, grabbing his hand softly. "no, i'm glad none of you got hurt." hyungwon smiled.
