Date Night

"Guys, don't worry about me! Why don't you guys go out on a date tonight?" Farkle said, smiling at us and walking us out the door of the bakery.
"Are you sure?" Maya asked, looking at Farkle concerned.
"Yes, I'm sure! Go have fun!" Farkle exclaimed, smiling at the both of us and walks to his car, he continues, "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
Maya and I both nod and we head to a restaurant near the bakery for our date.

Three hours pass and we laugh at the endless jokes that we tell eachother. I sighed and looked at Maya. I was still concerned about Farkle, I wonder how he's been holding up...
    
"Want to call Farkle, pumpkin?" Maya asked quietly. I nodded my head and Maya began to FaceTime Farkle. Farkle instantly answers the FaceTime call.

"Farkle!" Maya and I both exclaimed in unison.

"Hey, guys!" Farkle said, letting out a chuckle.

"Farkle, how have you been holding up?" I asked, clearly really concerned about my best friend since the first grade.

"I'm fine, Riles. You don't have to worry about me. Enjoy your date!" Farkle exclaimed with a smile on his face to prove that's he's doing just fine.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Maya asked, making sure that he was okay.

"Yes, I'm fine!" Farkle replied, letting a chuckle escape out of his mouth.
