I look down at the piano and smile. "Thank you so much. I'm really grateful for this, mom." I say. She looks at me with a warm smile etching in her face. I notice small creases around her eyes and around her mouth. "It's the least I could do. I just want you to be happy and you've been telling me how much you've wanted a piano. We moved into a house so I got you a piano." My mom replies. I look up at her with tears in my eyes. "Thank you." I say giving her a big hug. "You're welcome." She says back. I walk back over to the piano and slide my hand over the smooth top. I open it with a grin and I see the beautiful black and white keys. My mom watches me as I sit down on the bench she also bought me and I slowly place my fingers on the keys. I start to play them delicately with much care. I play faster and then I realizing why the song didn't sound right. I place my toes gently on the sustaining pedal as I continue to play the song. The notes get longer and the song sounds ten times more beautiful than it did before. I stop playing and look up at my mom. She has tears in her eyes and a happy smile on her face. "eso fue tan hermoso." My mom says, crying happily. "Gracias, Ma." I reply. She looks down at the piano. "I'm glad I bought this. I've never seen you so happy." She says. I close the lid to the piano and look at my mom. "I've never been happier." I say with a smile. She smiles back and nods. "Well I have to go to work. Have fun, don't get into trouble. I'll see you tomorrow. Adios." My mom says. I wave as I watch her leave. I turn and go up the stairs into my bedroom. I grab my phone and sit on my bed. I see a text from my best friend, Jada.
Jada- oh my god, Aisha!!!!
Me- what?
Jada- BTS is coming to Washington!!! Shdgfkeiebe
Me- what?! Really?!
Jada- yesssss!!!!
Me- FINALLY!!!!!
I set my phone on my bed and jump around my room. After a few minutes of spazzing out from excitement I finally walk over to my mirror and practice my Korean. If they're coming to Washington surely they would have a fan sign. They do that everywhere! I look at myself in the mirror and pretend I'm talking to Taehyung, because I think I would get along with him the best. (When the words are underlined it's English.) "Hi, Taehyung! My name is Aisha and I...... I..... crap I forgot how to speak." I slap myself on the forehead and then start over. "Hi, Taehyung! My name is Aisha and I love BTS' music. Everything about the music is just amazing. And your voice is amazing too." I step back from the mirror satisfied with my Korean. I try to speak again and I notice my Koreans just slightly broken. Not so much it's not understandable, but enough to notice it's broken. I hear a notification on my phone and look to see. I cover my mouth in shock when I see what it is.BTS IS ALREADY HERE!
