He looked me straight into the eye like he was looking into my soul.
"I keep a lot to myself because it's difficult to find someone who understands."
"And you think I will?" I say with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.
Why would he pick me? If this is one of Jieun's plans then she won. I'm so tired of her doing this to me. That's why I find it difficult to find someone to trust. Just like this guys right here.
"I see how you suffer like I do. You get criticized and get punished for every single mistake. And I want someone to understand what I'm going through"
Somehow his words hit me. He understood what it once felt like to be tortured. And at this point. He was the first person to make me believe that I could finally trust someone again without a doubt.
I nodded at his proposal of my friendship. He gave me his signature bunny smile.
"Thank you. I could finally trust someone"
