Loving Stranger (Strange Date Peternoic x Reader)

Realization

After seeing Peter for the first time in 5 years a huge wave of emotion has come across me. I didn't know I had all these emotion towards him. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if we never met 15 years ago.

It's as I was going back Intime when I saw him that day senior year and we became lab partners sure it was rocky at first, but it blossomed into a beautiful ending but of course it didn't last long.

I was tired of the feeling of daydreaming I knew this was wrong, I couldn't just betray my family like this.

Today was my only day off maybe I could stop thinking about Peter, so I figured I'd spend the day with the kids. Taro was here earlier but got called in for an emergency.

After waking up I made breakfast for the kids which the 3 kids helped with. Then we did some arts and crafts with things we found around the house and built a fort out of sheets. I was now sitting on the porch drinking coffee while watching the kids play with the neighbor's boy Timmy.

I was watching and laughing while the kids used their imagination as they played with sticks pretending they were lightsabers. I look up when a brand-new white Jeep pulls up and out steps Peter, what the hell is he doing here. He walks up and sits next to me on the porch swing, and just sits there in silence for a few minutes as he watches them play.

"She's mine, isn't she?" he asked.

I didn't answer I just continued watching them.

"Why didn't you tell me (Y/N)?"

"I wanted you to figure it out on your own, I mean it pretty obvious she has your eyes, nose and lips. I stated.

"I mean back then, when I could have helped you raise them and been there."

"Really Peter? What was I supposed to do call you up after you left?"

"I left because you kicked me out you even said it yourself." He stated.

"You didn't want anything to do with me, so I didn't want to use me being pregnant as an excuse to make you stay when you didn't want to."

"(Y/N) I have been in love with you ever since that day 15 years ago even back then I knew I wasn't good enough for you. Nobody is, there is not a single person in the world that would ever be good enough for you, and after all I put you through already I knew I definitely didn't deserve you, that's why I ended it with you."

"Okay..." I said.

"I still am in love with you (Y/N)..." he leaned closer taking my hands in his "I really want to be their father, but I want to do it with you."

"They already have a father Peter." I stated "Taro was there for me when you broke up with me and he was..."

"Yeah, because he was just trying to get into your pants, and I bet it didn't take long for you two to start dating either."

"How dare you come back after five years and insult him for being a man and raising your children. We didn't even start talking until around Abby's 1st birthday. He was an actual gentleman about things and didn't try to sleep with me first chance he got, he didn't touch all over me all the time, he proved to me that he really cared about me even though I had 3 kids and did anything to support me. He has always been there for the kids and a father figure before he proposed."

"Okay, I'm sorry. But I'm here now and I would like to be a father to them too." He said.

"I don't know Peter." I looked down at the porch as I thought about everything.

"(Y/N) please."

"You know this isn't about us, right? This isn't just some way to ty to get back, this is my kids' life's you're talking about."

"(Y/N), I would never do that" he informed "just please give me a chance to prove myself."

I sat in silence for a minute before answering. "Fine" I said thinking about the Bestway to fit him into their lives.

"But you have to work your way in, start out going over to your parent's house when they are there on Friday nights, and have dinner with us on Saturdays. Work on getting to know them first, even though you were there for Leo and Bobby things have changed and since Abby barley knows you she need to warm up to you. But the main thing is just let them to get to know you, tell them about your life, any interesting things you've done, they love hearing stories, get them comfortable for them, so just tell them your Pedro's brother and nothing else."

"Okay...I can definitely do that."
