~6 Days later~
"Okay kids time to pack up we leave for your grandparents in 10 minutes."
As the children ran around trying to find what they needed (Y/N) was a worried mess thinking if Peter would show up and if he did would he keep the charade up or will he tell Abby the truth.
"Mommy it's time to leave." Abby said while pulling at my dress.
"Oh, yes, dear let's hurry along now don't want your sweet grandma waiting."
Oh, how I hated that woman but at the same time thankful.
"Okay, kids now remember just because they can buy you whatever you want doesn't mean you need it, okay."
"Yes mom."
"Understand." I said firmly.
"Yes mom!" They said alert.
"I'll pick you up on Sunday be good. Oh, and Leo if anything happens call me okay."
"Okay."
"Take care." As I drove away I saw Peter's car passing by, yet he didn't stop at the house. "I knew the jerk wouldn't want to be part of their lives."
Kid's POV
As we walked up the driveway and rang the doorbell the butler greeted us. Walking through the door we could smell cookies baking, we knew the chef wouldn't let us down.
"Well hello my children, how are you?" Our grandma said.
"We are doing fine."
"Okay well put your things in your room and get cleaned up for dinner."
As we made our way upstairs we noticed something different about the house it seemed more alive. Usually when we come over, and it's a big event the staff would make everything look spectacular and the chef would make the most amazing treats.
"Hey, Leo, Is today grandma or grandpa's birthday?"
"No not that I recall, but if it was, mom would have told us."
"Then what's up with the place being in such a bustle?"
"Maybe they are going to have a big partay!" said Abby.
"I doubt it, last time we were at one of their events we ruined it and had to stay in our rooms for the rest of the weekend."
"What do you think Abby?"
"Maybe they decided to give us all the moneys they have and are going to celebrate."
"Yeah right, mom says that the only way we can ever get that money is if one of us gets on grandma's good side and so far, none of us have succeeded."
"Talk for yourself Leo, we all know I'm the favorite."
"Well who's the one that dropped the chocolate fountain on top of the prime minister of Spain last year." mocked Leo.
"Okay fine well let's just get down stairs to see what's going to happen." Bobby marched down with a furrowed brow.
Third person POV
As they got ready for dinner Timothy showed up at the door. Timothy enters the foyer where the butler greets him and shows him to the dining room.
"Hey everyone, what smells so good?"
As he sat down and greeted us, soon after filling his plate with everything in sight.
"We are doing fine dear, how are you?" where is your darling wife?"
"OH, she's at home she wasn't feeling so good."
"Oh, dear I hope she hasn't caught a bug."
As the adults talked we heard the doorbell ring and in came the butler with Peter.
"Hey there everyone, it's been so long." He said in a nervous tone as he was watching his kids stare at him.
Abby then kicked Leo and whispers "What's Mr. Ugly doing here?"
"I don't know but be calm." He whispered back.
As Peter came closer he sat next to Timothy.
"So, what's new big brother?"
"Nothing much just trying to keep the company alive after you left."
"Okay boys that's enough there are children present."
"Yes, mother."
Then there was a moment of complete silence, so Abby decided to break it by asking the one question that was bugging her this whole week.
"Grandma who's this man sitting next to Uncle Timmy?"
Peter then coughs and stands "I'm your uncle I have been away on business and have recently returned."
