chapter 5 the date

*set 2 days later on a Friday* 

*snotlout fell for ruff the next day and told hiccup and astrid about it and it was 2 period both hiccup and astrid were adding glaze to the clay sculptures they made and hiccup felt like it would be the right time to ask astrid out* 

*Hiccups pov*

*Went over to her and sat down next to her* hey astrid so i was thinking of taking a break from working on the project just for one day because i was wondering would you like to go out on a date with me...tonight?*he look at her blushing,then looking down*

*Astrids pov*

*she didn't know what to say she was waiting for him to ask her out again* uh uh yes yes i would love t go out on a date with u hiccup *she smiled at him* so um where are u going to take me? 

*Hiccups pov*

hmm? well about....*he thought a bit* a movie date or take you to a sushi restaurant?

*Astrids pov* 

*she thought for a while* how about the movie date i like the sound of that and can i choose the movie? *he nodded* yes! okay well uh.... i cant wait and it took u long enough to ask me out again haddock *she punched his shoulder a bit hard and laughed, hiccup went on his phone to see what movies were playing and at one of their local movie theater s they had a all 80's movie night*

*Hiccups pov*

hey astrid here i just found here for this movie theater tonight they have all 80's movie night you choose the movie u want to see if u want to see a 80's movie or something new? 

*Astrids pov* 

*she looked at his phone she wanted to see but she wanted to see something new so she took his phone and wanted to see what movie theater was playing reruns of new movie and she looked and found one* hey hiccup how about his one it is a rerun but i heard its a great movie its called the shape of water would u like to go and see it? *he smiled and said sure why not and she smiled back and put some glaze on his nose laughing a bit then he did the same back to her and they both laughed*

*Hiccups pov*

hehe well um i guess ill pick u up at 7 tonight *he smile at her and stared into her shining sky blue eyes he was about to lean in to kiss her but a pot of glaze dropped onto his pants* ahh omg okay um ill be right back he went and asked to use the restroom to clean off his pants*

*later at lunch she decided to sit with her friends at their table and she told them that she got a date* 

*Heathers pov* 

Wait wait you got a date! who asked you out? *all the other girls asked the same* 

*Astrids pov*

*she smiled happily* hiccup asked me out 

*ruffs pov* 

wait hiccup haddock the looser of this school yeah i know im new and all but people have told me why did say yes to him you guys don't even like same stuff.

*heathers pov* 

ruff! come on really i know u don't know astrid that well an all but her and hiccup are meant for each other okay i have know astrid sense grade school okay and both her and hiccup are nerdy and are int the same movies and music okay*ruff in surpise a bit nods* now where is he taking you out?

*Astrids pov*

Well he asked me would i rather like to go see a movie or take me out to a sushi restaurant and i said movie, now he did say if i would like to see a 80's movie. I thought about it for a while and i took his phone and saw that they had a rerun playing of the shape of water and i have never seen that movie before and i have heard that it is good,i also wanted to see something new too. he said yup and he will be picking me up at 7 tonight. *she smiled at all of them and then the congratulated her and they all started to talk about regular girl stuff and astrid ate her food and thought abut hiccup then twirled her finger in her hair the was hanging out*
