If you didn't know, Zach Herron and I have been dating for two months. I find the way we met to be pretty cute considering my sister helped me. But not in the way you would've expected. It all started on the last day of school...
My sister, Sienna had a playdate with one of her friends on the last day of my school. Instead of going to parties, like most of my outgoing friends did, my mom forced me to drive over there and take care of the kids because she had a work meeting cutting into the time. I knew it was gonna be the suckiest night of my life. I arrived at a nice house knocking on the door.
"Hi, honey! Come in, Sienna's right here!" My mom said leading me through a large entrance, a big hallway and into a kitchen.
"Sienna's having a snack with her friend Reese." Mom said.
"Hi (Y/N)! This is my friend Reese!" Sienna said patting her Reese's shoulder.
"Hi Reese, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm (Y/N)." I said shaking her hand.
"Hello (Y/N)!" She said while eating with a mouthful of cookies. I laughed a little.
"Okay (Y/N), right now it is, 4 and I'll be back at 9:30 with Reeses mom. Theres frozen spaghetti in the fridge that you can heat up for you and the girls dinner. Reese also had a brother that'll be coming home a little sooner than me. Maybe you two could hit it off!" Mom said. Smirking at the end.
"MOM!" I said while the kids were laughing.
"I love you bye!" She said out the door. I shake my head and turn back to the kids with an empty plate of cookies.
"You two really would!" Reese said laughing.
"Oh please, I'm a ugly 16 year old girl who spends her last day of school babysitting a couple of cute girls for free." I say taking a seat.
"Sounds like a great deal!" Sienna says. I giggle a bit.
"Your not ugly (Y/N)! I think you're really pretty! And I'm sure my brother will think so too!" She said laughing along with my sister.
I spend the next two hours watching and taking care of the kids as a rainstorm emerges. Which is almost if not completely impossible considering its Dallas, Texas in the middle of summer. I hear the doorbell ring thinking it may be my mom home early or a package so I open the door. But to my dismay, it was someone really, REALLY good looking. My pupils widen as a little girl pushes through me and gives him a hug.
"This is my brother, the one I was talking about! Zach!" She said while on his back. I let them in as she runs off yelling, "(Y/N) REALLY NICE!" I laugh a little.
"Sorry about that, you know how kids can be." He says. "So, I don't mean to be rude but, who are you?"
"Oh sorry, I'm (Y/N) I'm babysitting the kids and one of them happens to be my sister."
"Oh shoot, are you my long lost sister?!" He says surprised. I laugh a little.
"To what I think is unfortunate, no." I say.
"Good." He says.
"Why is that good?"
"Because I don't want anyone who I'm related with falling for me." He said. I scoffed.
"Falling for you? Your out of it Herron." I say laughing as I walk towards the kitchen, cleaning up the mess they made.
"So you don't find this," He winked at me "Charming?" he finishes as he bend down to help me gather the crumbs.
"Real cute Herron." I say sarcastically.
He snickers
"Thats cute, but your probably way to old for me. And who would want to charm a girl who spends her last day of school babysitting kids?" I say throwing the crumbs in the trash bin.
