I walk out of the coffee shop with a piping hot coffee warming me from cold Minnesota weather. I walk through a park till I find a bench to take a seat. I lean against the bench as I look up against the stars. They always helped clear my mind on sleepless nights like this. Until I was rudely interrupted by 5 teenage boys running around and laughing and playing around. I roll my eyes as I take a sip of coffee.
"Bro, just go!" I hear the shortest one whisper to the tallest one as he walks over my way. I see his face and realized he was Jonah Marais, this guy my sister is obsessed with. He takes a seat next to me.
"So, whats a beautiful girl like you doing here at 1am on a cold Minnesota night?" He asked.
"Oh, I don't know! just thought I'd get a tan because it's the perfect weather for that." I said a little rudely.
"Oh, "
There fell an awkward silence
"Sorry if that was rude, I'm just really stressed."
"Oh, no worries what's wrong?"
"And why would I tell you that? No offense but I don't even know you..." i laughed a little.
"Well, you could. I'm -"
"Jonah Marais. I already know, my sister listens to your bands music." I said as I took a sip of coffee.
"Oh, thats cool, my bandmates are over there." He said pointing towards a bunch of guys huddled and laughing.
"I figured..."
"And you are?"
" (Y/F/N)"
"Thats a pretty name."
"Thanks."
There was a silence of awkwardness.
"So... you from here?" He asked.
"Yeah, grew up here."
"Ah, nice me too."
"So, i'm 20," he said starting to feel uncomfortable.
"Ah, so I've gotten you to the point where you don't know what to say huh?" I laughed a little. "I'm 19..." I mocked. He laughed a little. He seemed a little tired.
"Sorry, I'm a little jet lagged." He said.
"Oh, want some? Its straight black." I said passing him my coffee.
"You'd expect me to drink something given from a stranger? I'm not gullible. My mom raised me different (Y/N)." He said. I laughed a little.
"Ah, your a momma's boy? And I thought we were more than strangers because we were on a first name bases." I said smirking. He laughed a bit.
"Well since we're apparently more than strangers, could I possibly get your number?"
"Ah, so he flirts back. Your lucky your cute." I say shaking my head as I take out my pen and writing my number on the coffee cup and giving it to him.
"Call me, Flirt." I said planting a kiss on his cheek as I walk away and turn back to see him blushing.
