"If it's meant to be, it'll come back and stronger."

Jermaine's P.O.V.

I haven't been the same since I left and neither has Messiah. He hasn't been playing as usual, just sitting. I haven't went out, I been using sick days to stay home from work, been either in my room or on the couch. I've barely eaten.

I know Imani wouldn't be happy with me not doing anything at all. I decide to go make a grilled cheese for me and Messiah.

We watch a few episodes of Paw Patrol until a knock at the door makes my stomach jump. I walk over to the door and I see Imani smile at me. I instantly grin from ear to ear. She walks in and embraces me tightly. "Can we talk about our last altercation?" I nod and let her in.

She frowns and she rubs my chin and smells me. "You haven't been showering. Why?" I shrug. I didn't want to tell her its because I've been depressed since I left. I sat Messiah in his walker and we walked to the kitchen table and she began her speech.

"Baby...I'm sorry for last time. I know I haven't been open with you lately and I know that hurts you because you've been all in for me. You know I love you. I just want to be with you. I know what I did to you last time you were with me was wrong. I'm sorry...I'm just so new to being happy, I forgot how to love."

I embrace her, kiss her lips, and tell her, "I know you didn't mean what was said. I know it's hard, but you know I'm here for you. I just want to fix what's been broken. Let me love you." "I will. I love you."

"I love you too."

Carnisha's P.O.V.

I get a phone call from Imani. I smile but also nervous about what she's going to say.

Me: Hello?

Imani: Hey.

Me: Wassup

Imani: I wanted to clear up our altercation. You know I love you, you're my sister.

Just because I'm going through something doesn't mean I'm a bad friend.

Me: I know. I guess I was just feeling some type of way. And I love you too. You talk to Jermaine?

Imani: I'm at his house now. I came and apologized.

Me: Well okay then! *I smile* I'll talk to you later.

We hang up. I was thinking about the guy I met who helped me with my car. This guy was gorgeous and a gentleman.

He was tall and brown skin. He had cleaned up dreads falling to the middle of his back and styled in the front. He had big brown eyes and long eyelashes, white teeth and a perfect smile.

I was at home watching TV, waiting on his call.

Imani's P.O.V.

I run into the bedroom and jump on top of Jermaine. "Wake up!!!" He groans. "Get up, get up!" He inhales deeply and turns over to look at me grinning.

"What you so happy about?" He holds my hips while I sit on his stomach. "Being with you again." He smiles, "You never lost me though." He kissed me. I felt his body and I can feel his ribs, not like usual. "Have you been eating?" He nodded. "When's the last time you ate besides this morning?" He looked around, then he said, "the day of our fight." I hit him on his chest. "What the hell? Why haven't you been eating? Go eat!"

"But--" "Right now!" I point to the door. He turns over to his side. "Can you make me food?" He looks at me with his puppy eyes. I groan and get up from bed to go make food for everyone.

After we eat, we go to the park so Messiah can have some play time out of the house.

I'm really happy I quickly came back to my senses. Jermaine has always been there for me and all my friends. They've never let me down and I don't want to let them down. I hope everything happening now stays the way it is, I couldn't be happier.
