You were heading home after the wedding, fairly drunk. You had tried to stay sober, but your cousins insisted on the drinks.

Peer pressured much?

Either way, you left your car into the hands of your family to be taken cared of. You didn't feel safe going to their house, so you had called Grillby to pick you up. He was already coming, but you figured you'd still walk to kill time.

Frisk was apparently passing by because you heard her talking to Chara, the biggest prick. Ever.

Needless to say, Frisk and Chara stayed until Grillby came. Entering the car, you refused to speak to Grillby.

You two had gotten into a very intense argument that simply started with you just getting up in the morning and saying that you were tired. He may have forgotten about how you usually are, a very dangerous minefield that would blow up on someone's face if stepping on the wrong place.

He had done just that. But what he said wasn't anything new from other fights, it's just this one felt oddly familiar. Oddly true. But at the same time, how you reacted to it was childish but needed. You blocked him from everything. Social media, you name it. The children may have noticed the tension between the two, so when the two of you usually get together, they try to distract themselves from it.

"Alright, can you please just talk to me now?"

No response from you. Why does he deserve it after he said what he said? You are simply here to work anyways, not to have a romantic relationship with your fucking boss.

"Please?" He pleaded.

"Talk then. What to do you want to say?" You questioned with a very aggravated tone. The smell of you alcohol-stained breath made you cringe.

"You're drunk, and you might not remember but..I know what I said was wrong. I'm sorry. My emotions are really out of balance, and I'm sorry. Alright? Just please say you forgive me and let's move on from this.."

You thought for a moment, did he really mean his apologies? I mean he's still classified as a male, monster or not.

"Fine, I'll forgive you. But I never held a grudge against you, Grillby. Never. But starting today, I'll always hold this against you."

The car had less tension before, but the lines that he said was still very evident.

"Your whole life is basically a grudge."
