"Chapter 1"

"Hit!" Ned said as I swung at him again.

A laugh escaped my lips as we begin to circle each other again. Mother, Father, and Lyanna watch from above just like every morning.

He swung his sword at me and I gracefully dodged the attack, kneeing him in the leg to cause a fall and his sword to fall from his hand. I suspend my sword at his neck, forcing a surrender out of him.

"You owe me," I laughed as I helped Ned up to Lyanna and Father's applause.

Mother gracefully approached me to brush the strands of messy brown hair.

"Do you have to be such a tomboy, darling?" She wiped the mud off my face. "Hurry and get clean, child. Robert is coming soon."

I groaned, but nodded in obedience.

As Lyanna dug through my closet, I took a calming bath.

"Are you nervous?" I inquired as she helped with the straightforward, navy blue dress she'd picked out.

"I'm very nervous," She replied, and I took her hand to comfort her.

"I'm with you until the end of the line. I promise," I said to see Lyanna smile.

The four of us stand in a line and see the chariots ride until their directly in front of us. Robert steps out of his first, and strides to Mother and Father.

"Nice to see you again, Robert," Dad told him, but Robert keeps his eyes on me: his childhood best friend.

"It's nice to see you, my brother." Ned said, pulling Robert into a hug.

"And to you as well brother," Robert replied and I see Lyanna's hands begin to shake more aggressively.

I grasped them tighter.

"And my lady, Lyanna," He kissed her cheek then turns to me with a smile.

"You've grown even more beautiful, Chastity," He stated

"Thank you, my lord," I answered as he placed a kiss on my hand.

"Robert! Let the feast begin!" Father shouts as the men and women cheer in agreement.

That's when I knew this would be a long night.
