Falling for a alpha

Chapter 1:My childhood

Lucy's pov
I was chasing my little sister Yukino as we were playing a little game i called caribou. "C'mon Yukino you can't escape the greatest alpha ever!" I yelled chasing her, i didn't realise the tree i literal ran into though and lets just say it hurts bad! "I just did!" Yukino replies giggling and running faster, damn little sister i thought on how she was really good at hiding. I then realised a silly omega running abnormally faster then his omega and beta friends "Natsu?" I questioned he jolted to a stop turning around saying "Hey Luce." The idiotic and playful omega replied happily i smiled then heard "Lucy lets go."

Natsu's pov
I watched Luce starts walking away and i asked "Wait w-where you going?" She replied with "To alpha school." i was shocked "How long will you be gone?" i questioned "Till spring." She said back to me i tried to follow her I mean it's a whole winters time what if she gets hurt! I though we could talk before she left but her father the alpha stopped me "Now Natsu i know you're Lucy's friend, but it doesn't work like that alpha's and omega's don't mix." Alpha Jude said and  i listened to his speech for the five thousandth time then went to find Gray, Erza, Juvia and Jellal it's going to be a really long winter i thought really long!

Me and the group were just chilling when we heard growling. We thought it was another wolf fight for food so we ran to the hill I mean come on entertainment at its highest! We saw three caribou just standing there eating grass. Then i saw a familiar yellow and white wolf sneaking up with two of the other beta's Mira and Laxus. It was Lucy! she was back from alpha school! I immeadietly go inform the others "Hey guys look who's back from alpha school." i tell them in excitement  "Forget it Natsu-san, Lucy-san's a fully trained alpha now." Juvia said as the others nodded in agreement and I groaned "We're just friends." i reply a little sadly "Yeah and that's all you'll ever be." said Gray bursting my bubble and heart into a million pieces.

Erza's pov
We watched as Natsu had a happy yet sad look on his face, true he was different than any omega or beta we have ever seen. He acts like an alpha but, his bright red almost salmon fur confuses me. mostly because that's from the almighty Dragneel pack and that pack has been extinct for years. All of the Dragneel wolves are either dead or missing. So how can Natsu have it?  I was so stuck in thought about the Dragneel pack and Natsu that I didn't realise Lucy's hunt went downhill after the Eucliffe pack had attacked on our side i was about to run and help but Jellal had stopped me telling me that we'll solve this without my violence and I nod annoyed.

Lucy's pov
Those awful, annoying sons of a bitc- i was about to curse in my head when all of a sudden a stampede came running in at killer speeds "S-stampede!" I yelled catching Laxus and Mira's attention "Run to the sides!" I ordered and they nodded i jumped up grabbing a tree root sticking out of the cliff and got on top of it to safety. I then realised the idiotic wolves from the Eucliffe pack were about to be trampled. "Be a good leader settle the score." I mumble as i started running, jumping over something well I was moving as fast I can to themb maybe it was  a rock at least i think it was.

I pounced on three caribou biting there necks so they would die and we could eat at least something and not let the pack go hungry we haven't had much this month so this'll cheer everyone up! Then i jumped off and saved the two Eucliffe wolves also known as Orga and Minerva. Laxus got pissed and started to attack, and all the wolves got in a full on fight "Guys, guys, guys stop look even the caribou are laughing, except those three dead ones who are our dinner." Said Natsu laughing "Natsu?" i said getting a good look at him "Why hello Lucy." he said trying to act smooth "Haha well thanks for trying to get them to stop." i say gratefully and he shake his head "No problem." He replies smiling.

Laxus's pov
"Heartfilia hunting group bring the food back to the den, you two go home, and omega's good job." said the alpha as we called Erza and Jellal to help with the food while Lucy went home to the pack. We were walking in the woods when i got jumped or attacked i should say and Mira carried me to the den. "Laxus got jumped." said Mira who placed me down gently as Layla looks at my wounds "oh dear those look painful!" Layla yells her face going dark  "Jude if i get my hands on these wolves i will rip there tails off and make a collar out of there teeth as I shove their tails down their throats." Said pack luna Layla in a rage as Mira Jellal and Erza shivered in fear picking me up  and ran to the infirmary.

Natsu's pov
Gray and i were chillin with Jellal and Juvia talking about the moonlight howl "Man i don't even like, have a date." Gray complained and I raise a brow toward him "Juvia will go with Gray-sama!" Yelled an enthusiastic Juvia with hearts in her eyes "Yeah sure why not." He replied bored as Jellal turn towards him "Gray Fullbuster if you hurt my sister i will rip you into shreds." Jellal  threateningly states as Gray nodded shivering out of his fur and tail between his legs as they shook "Don't forget Natsu we don't know what you are and the test is coming up so we can see if you're a beta or something." Gray decided to comment as I groan why am I reminds of this so much!

"He may also be an alpha." Said the bookworm omega Levy Mcgarden and beside her was beta Gajeel Redfox her mate. "Haha as if flamebrains an alpha." Gray replies in a joking manner "I wouldn't mind being one stripper then i could kick your ass anytime I want!" i yell angrily "No you just want to be with Lucy and you're using yours and Gray's fighting habit as a cover-up." Jellal answered with his eyes closed resting and l I glared at him knowing his words were all true.

Lucy's pov
I followed my dad to where he talks with the Eucliffe's and what I heard had shocked me. "You're Daughter does know that she must marry Sting am i right Jude." Said the sabertooth pack leader Weisslogia questions as my father nods "Yes she does and i sure hope Sting does too." said my father "Oh he does." Weisslogia says as he turned and left "Father." I said walking out confidently "O-oh yes Lucy." he stutters "I-i'll do it for the pack, it's my responsibility." I answered ready to help my pack i'm the next leader afterall right? So it's my job to start making sacrifices for the pack no more what Lucy Heartfilia wants its what the pack needs!
