Chapter 14 A date to remember

Natsu's pov
"Well?" I asked Lucy worried "Yes of course i'll go out with you!" She exclaimed hugging me as i blushed darker than Erza's hair. "So where are we going?" she exclaimed jumping up and down "To a festival." I replied grinning "Oh yay!" She yelled running off to get ready. As i realized i had too get ready too! "Guy's i need your help!" I yell to Gray and Jellal "With what?" They asked in unision "A date outfit that fits well with a festival." I awnsered and they got to work.

In the end this is what i had got.

I thanked the guys after five hours of trying to find decent smelling clothes for me and i didn't even realise it was time for Lucy and i to have our date. (Btw this takes place in summer.) I heard the girl screaming and yelling for 'Make-up or a cutip or something' it seemed to be a good thirty minutes till i was able to actually catch a glimpse a Luce. "Hi Natsu." Lucy said with a closed eyed smile. I swear to god she will be the death of me! How am i even supposed to survive this?

Lucy's pov
"You look great!" Natsu complimented me grinning "Thanks, you look great too." I awnsered slightly embarrassed "Alright lets go we have a festival to go to." He exclaimed as he ran off and i quickly followed suit. "It's amazing." I said entranced at the big gates "Come on!" I yelled dragging Natsu to the games "Alright what did you want to win?" Natsu questioned me "The blue cat with wings it looks like Happy!" I cheered smiling "Hey you're right lets go I'M FIRED UP!" Natsu yelled as he won tge Happy stuffy "Happy?" he asked

"Very." I responded snuggling happy when music came on "*Gasp* I love this song come on Natsu lets dance!" I cheered.

As the beat started to play me and Natsu started to sway, until he took my hands and we started to dance together. Natsu decided to sing " remember me though i have to say goodbye remember me." He sang so softly "I didn't know you could sing." I said as he twirled me "there are many things people don't know about me." He smirked "I see." I awnsered all he did was laugh as we started dancing weirdly.

Natsu's pov
This is my chance! As the song continued "Lucy I've liked you for a while now and i just wanted to as-" I was about to ask but Lucy interupted me by planting a kiss on my lips. Her lips were so soft "How's that for a yes?" She Awnsered smiling "I love you Luce." I said grinning "I love you too Natsu." She awnsered "You do not wanna know how long i"ve dreamed of hearing those words from you." I acclaimed "How long?" She asked "Maybe 7 or 8 years." I awnsered "I'm sorry for not noticing." She awnsered

"Well now that, that's over with shall we continue our date?" I questioned my new Mate/Girlfriend "Yes we shall she awnsered i then did something even i myself didn't think i would ever do i nuzzled her button nose! And she nuzzled back!

If this is what it's like to love someone then i never want it to end, and Luce makes this a thousand times better "Hey Natsu geuss what?" Luce asked me "What?" I questioned back "I love you." She awnsered "You already said that." I replied "And i'll keep doing it." She awnsered

"Goodnight Natsu." she waved to me but i just tackled her down "What is it?" She asked smiling "I don't want to leave you." I awnsered "Alright but just this once." She replied and i shook my head "Everynight i'm guessing." She said giggling as i nodded my head "Alright lets go." She said heading to her bed laying down as i lie down beside her "I love you Natsu." She said Again "I love you too Luce." Was the last thing i had said before darkness consumed me...

Erza's pov
"Hey Lucy time to ge- Awww!" Erza yelled seeing the two snuggling

"Huh i'm up!" Lucy yelled waking up Natsu "I am too now." He said groggily "Oh i'm sorry Natsu." Lucy said kissing his cheek "I'll forgive you." He muttered blushing. They're acting as if i'm not here maybe they think i left "Alright well thanks for that entertaining scene." I said getting their attention "Oh hey Erza." They said in unision "Yeah uh breakfast is ready." I stated and before i could blink they were gone "Ha i win!" Natsu yelled "No i win wheres my kiss!" Lucy pouted "you can get a kiss whenever you want." He said kissing her as she blushed

Mira's pov

I yelled as Nalu pronounced themselves cannon. I'm so happy for them as we were watching the news something tragic had came on it was our home. Burnt into crisps, I saw as both of my sibling were on the ground and dead. I sobbed and screamed as Laxus comforted me and Gajeel comforted Levy. As for Lucy we waited to see if she would snap she's always hid her emotions. The t.v had turned to two golden wolves Layla....Jude. "It seems we found the alpha's of the pack but their limbs have been teared right off.

Lucy's pov
I screamed and cried that night as Natsu hugged me "Were going to start a new here as humans i can't go back there our pack is dead." I concluded "It's your choice Luce I'll follow you wherever you go though." Natsu comforted me staring into my eyes "What are your thoughts." I asked "I'm upset but I know they wouldn't want me to be so this time I'll be the shoulder you lean on." He smiled sadly stating his thoughts "Because i'll spend forever with you." I responded crying "Don't cry Luce your prettiest when you smile." Natsu inquired "Thankyou Natsu i know it'll get better now." I awnsered falling asleep...
