"Why? Why? Why is this happening to us? Why can't it just end?!" Seiko said as she cried. Kana was following her to wherever she was going.
"What's happening?" Kana asked Seiko. Seiko stopped, allowing Kana to catch up with her. She panted, and Seiko store at a spot in the middle of the hallway. Kana looked at it and saw that Seiko was staring at a limp body.
"Auntie!" Kana yelled and ran over to her aunt, Yuka Mochida. She shook the older woman, to no avail.
Seiko kneeled down next to them. She studied the woman. "She's fine. For now. She'll wake up soon." She said as Yuka stirred.
"I-I'm here again." Yuka said as she sat up, leaning on one arm. "S-Seiko." She said, looking straight at Seiko.
"Do you know how my brother's doing? Yuu?" Seiko asked.
"He's..." Yuka hesitated. Kana heard auntie Yuka talk about Yuu. She had never heard of him, but Yuka sometimes told stories about him.
"He was reported missing." Yuka answered. "A few years ago. He went to his coworker's retirement party, and then... well, he never came back. Then, I talked about him and no one knew about him or his coworkers, and I guess, he came here."
"I-I would've been able to tell!" Seiko protested. "Unless... But then why haven't I seen him?"
"It's possible." Kana added. "That you haven't seen him. There are what? Four nexuses?"
"But then how do you guys remember him?" Seiko asked.
"I can answer that!" The three girls heard a young female voice from down the hall. They glanced that way to see a small girl with black hair, light grey skin, and a red dress standing there.
"Sachiko..." Yuka hissed.
"Hi!" Sachiko giggled. "Okay, what were we talked about?" The girl tapped her chin. "Oh, yeah! You survivors were still connected with this school when you left. You can ask my cousin that! She sees when people come here."
"Who's you cousin?" Kana demanded.
"Ayumi, of course! She was a Shinozaki! Still should be, if you ask me. But anyways, if your children had come here without you coming here, they would probably be dead by now!" Sachiko giggled. "But anyways, you guys still had a connection to this school when you left. Maybe not as deep as Seiko's, but still, it was there!"
"Buh-bye!" The girl in the red dress laughed and slowly faded away.

"I think our priority should be finding everyone else." Ayumi stated, leading her twelve-year-old daughter to classroom 1-A. The older woman hoped that the rest remembered their agreement long ago.
She turned towards her daughter. "Either that, or finding the doll and tongues... Oomph!" Ayumi fell forward after being bumped into from behind.
"Oh, I'm so- Ayumi!" The woman that bumped into Ayumi, Naomi, said. She then proceeded to hug her and sigh with relief.
"Naomi, have you seen anyone else?" Ayumi asked her.
"Just you guys and Riku." The young boy with brown hair and brown eyes stepped from behind his mother.
"Riku!" Aya exclaimed and hugged the older boy. He blushed a deep shade of scarlet.
Ayumi and Naomi couldn't resist smiling. It reminded both of them of how they had acted with their respected partner when they were here years ago.
Riku pushed Aya away. "I-It's not like that!" He protested, which led Aya to pout.
Ayumi smiled. "I think we should head to classroom 1-A." She said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"They're here." Mayu said as an earthquake ceased.
"Who're here?" Miki asked.
"My friends that survived. Your parents. But I have to save you! We can't draw a crowd..." Mayu tapped her chin.
"Are my parents here?" Miki asked hopefully.
"Nope nope nope. Not in this nexus, I guess. Unlucky you." Mayu frowned. "We have to find the tongues and appease the sprits though, so that should be our first priority!" Mayu said.
"I'm sorry..." A frail, high-pitched voice said from somewhere below them.
"Is that...?" Mayu thought out loud. "It is!" The ghost dived at tge ground and faded through, leaving Miki stunned.
"W-Wait! Come back!" Miki called desperately, hoping she was not left alone.
She was answered when Mayu's head popped out from the floorboards. "I need you to pull this out, kay?"
"Okay." Miki pulled out a wooden board to reveal a frail doll.
"I'm sorry..."
