They had been walking through the woods for ten minutes when Nolan decided he rather not be walking through the trees. Begrudgingly, Evian and Toby hopped down. Toby, of course, had to help Nolan off of that last far drop. After that, they continued to walk in silence for what felt like a while. Toby and Evian would talk a little and chuckle, then stare right at Nolan for a second.

"I told him he looked like a Windex explosion," Evian whispered to Toby, he chuckled, the two of them staring back at the other kid. He couldn't even tell.

Nolan was still extremely shaken up. Nothing around him even felt that real. Nolan walked in line with Evian, though she told him to walked ahead. Though she was that freak, she was a little pretty. Something about her eyes was what it was. And the way she walked; it was like she didn't give a crap about what anyone thought about her. Each step was wide and proud and excited. Even if she was the freak that pretty much kidnapped him...his eyes went a little crazy.

"HOLY CRAP!" he suddenly exclaimed, his eyes darting around. All around him were trees and plants. He couldn't even see the lab in the distance. Where even was he? Who was he walking with? Oh, my Gooooood! He thought.

Both Evian and Toby shushed him, but Nolan still panicked. Evian looked around, knowing that the slightest sound could attract attention. Oh, my God, I'm not gonna die because of this wimp! She thought. Toby covered his mouth without even standing on his toes or reaching up. Toby bit his lip and stared right at Nolan's face. Evian put a hand on his shoulder. Nolan had never felt more uncomfortable. Evian gently pulled away Toby's hand, and Nolan immediately blurted out, "I gotta go back to the lab."

"No no no!" The two others whispered in unison.

"Dude, I know this is scary, but you can't go back their now," Evian told him as she put her hands on his shoulder and forced him to look her in the gorgeous blue eyes that Nolan only then had second thoughts about.

"Yeah, you almost drowned Dr.Forest!" he called out. "And blew a hole in the building!"

"We...had to make some sacrifices," Toby muttered. It was probably the first time Nolan heard him talk. Nolan swatted away Evian's arms (a real sacrifice).

"Why would I even follow some freaks in the first place!" Nolan yelled. Evian stepped back, her fist over her heart. She bit her lip, frowning angrily. Her sad glare shot right through him. Toby, however, stomped right on Nolan's foot. It was more painful than expected, to say the least.

"Ah, how big are your feet?" Nolan grunted, rubbing his leather shoes. Toby gave him an angrier death glare than Evian.

"I'm not a freak!" Toby grumbled. "You're a-"

"No, Toby," Evian interrupted, a bit more level-headed. "He said the same thing before. Just...he'll learn. I mean, it's the same as saying he's a freak."

"No, I'm not!" Nolan retaliated.

"He totally is," Evian mumbled, smirking over at Toby.

"No, you little-"

"Yes, he is. He turned a faucet into a jet stream."

"That-" Evian stared him dead in the eye again.

"Listen, Nolan," she declared. "If you go back there, they're going to put you in the cage with the rest of us. Is our way, or the highway, buddy."

"Have you ever even seen one?" Nolan mumbled, so no one else could hear. "Where are you even taking me?"

"Where we live," Toby answered vaguely.

"A stone house all disguised with plants," Evian clarified. "We stay close so we could help others out. Usually, we don't jailbreak like this, though. We plan it out for way too long while more are getting taken. Or we wait for them to escape, like-"
