Chapter 1

I ran away from home because no one understood me. Not everyone knew the truth about me but they could see, I was different from my eyes. I just had to get away from anyone, so I ran into the forest near the dilapidated old fort. When I got there I looked back at the town and my goodbyes, I was really gonna miss my best friend and boyfriend. As I walked farther into the forest i started not knowing my surroundings. It seemed like the forest went on forever! But I guess that was a good thing if I was running away.

I passed by a meadow full of tall grass and stunning flowers. My favorite was the one rose bush very shy and hidden away among the other flowers. Just the rose in may ways we were alike: shy, pretty, strong, dangerous, and Independent. After taking a moment to examine the meadow I kept walking. Not long after I came across A fair sized beautiful lake with a cave on the end. the place was surrounded by trees so in was just a small opening at this spot.

There was so much life happening in and around the lake, it was amazing! There were plenty of fish in the lake, and lots of little critters running about. I couldn't wait to go swimming in it! I took my back pack and set up camp in the cave. The odd part was it looked like something used to live here. I didn't worry about it though. After I set up I went out too explore more, I took my knife with me. I went to look around and when I went out a little more with in 100 feet I found an old and what seemed like abandoned tree house.

I was too cautious to go up and look in for who knows what could be up there. I then went back to The cave.  When I got there it was almost night so i took some food out of my bag and ate. After I ate I made a bed out of rope, sticks, and moss. I covered the entrance with logs and some other material to keep the cold and animals out. I went to sleep on the little bed covered with my coat as a blanket. I woke up the next morning and got dressed. I decided to go out to the meadow to relax and pick flowers. When I got to the meadow i was about to jump in and roll around in the flowers when suddenly I saw someone...
