Riley's POV

I woke up in a room that was not mine. It took me a few seconds to remember I fell asleep in Daniel's room last night. I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. Thank god I take my brush everywhere I go because my hair was a mess.

Once I finished brushing my hair I made the bed and opened the bedroom door instantly smelling the aroma of cooked eggs and bacon.

I walked downstairs and saw Zach and Jack playing playing fortnite, Jonah cooking breakfast, And Corbyn and Daniel talking outside in the backyard.

"Hey sleepy head." Jonah said laughing.

"Believe me I could've slept WAY longer." I replied back to him making him laugh.

"Hungry?" Jonah asked.

I nodded my head and he handed me a plate with eggs, bacon, and toast.

"Thanks, Jonah." I said.

Jonah smiled then yelled to the rest of the guys that breakfast was ready. They all came running into the kitchen like they haven't eaten in weeks.

"Oh good morning, Riley." Daniel said while smiling.

"Good morning, Daniel." I smiled back.

Just as I was about to take my first bite my phone rang. It was an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello is this Miss Hunter?" The person over the phone asked.

"Yes this is her."

"Well I would like to inform you that your father has been checked into the Road-wick hospital in Los Angeles California." The women on the phone told me.

I feel like I couldn't talk, I could move. I couldn't breathe. I haven't talked to my dad in months but I feel like I need to go see him, he is my dad after all.

"Miss Hunter? Are you still there?" The women asked.

"Oh uh yea sorry. May I ask why he's in the hospital?"

All of the guys had their eyes on me.

"Well he was in a pretty bad car accident. The doctors believe he will be fine as long as he continues to stay in his current state. He's broken his leg and also a few of his ribs, but nothing else seems to be wrong.He'll be able to go in just about a week or so." The hospital lady explained.

"Is he allowed visitors?" I asked.

"Yes as long as they are in relation to him. But starting tomorrow anyone can visit as long as they have permission from one of your fathers relatives."

"Oh okay thank you I'm on my way right now."

Before she could answer I hung up the phone and ran upstairs to get any belongings I left in Daniels room.

Daniel followed me.

"Hey what's wrong Riley?" Daniel asked.

I just burst into tears because of the frustrated and nervous feeling I got when I thought about seeing my dad again.

Daniel walked closer to me and engulfed me into a hug.

"Shhh everything's gonna be okay." He said while rubbing my back and trying to comfort me.

"My dads in the hospital." I got out between the tears.

I just felt Daniels grip around me get tighter.

"I'm so sorry." He said.

"Okay," I said taking a deep breath and drying my tears, "I really have to go, but thank you so much for comforting me."

"Of course. Do you want me to go with you?"

"You can if you want but there's no guarantee you can get into the room unless you're a really good liar." I told him.

"Well we'll have to see," Daniel laughed causing me to smile, " here you can wear this, " He said handing me a sweatshirt from his closet, "and these look like they'll fit you, my sister left them when she visited." He said handing me a pair of leggings.

I got dressed and grabbed my phone as Daniel explained what happened to the rest of the guys.

I walked downstairs and Daniel grabbed his keys and we both said goodbye to the guys.

This was gonna be one hell of a day.
