Everyone has secrets hidden within their pasts, no one is truly innocent and kind hearted. People always have a secret agenda in their plans and most are never afraid to hurt others to get what they want.

I am no different, my past bathed in blood and various sins of every choice I have ever made.

My name is (Y/N), and I am a former Mercenary hoping to change my life and make up for some past mistakes that i had made.

You see I used to have a couple of partners who I worked well with, though all of our different personalities clashed more then once we always got the job done. However out of the two I was closest to Felix A.K.A Isaac. Though he was a bit dramatic and inappropriate at times I couldn’t help but fall for my fellow Mercenary. Soon we started dating and we were happy, that was until I brought of the idea of leaving it all behind and settling down. Felix had refused saying that it would never work, and that he need the money from this career path if you can even call it a career.

But that was seven years ago and I had followed through with what I said about leaving. I moved to a city and even bought myself a small and simple apartment in an ‘ok’ neighborhood. I felt safe but I never went anywhere without my pistol tucked away somewhere on my person, for my own safety of course.

Life was good and I was happy, never did I miss or even think about my life before now. I made friends and had a life, my own life. That was until one night when I came home from work.

As I approached the door of my apartment I caught onto the scent of a burning candle, I shrugged it off thinking it was my neighbor but quickly realized that it was coming from my door. I pushed open the front door slowly my (E/C) eyes scanning the room for any signs of an intruder. But what I saw was worse and made my heart drop into my stomach.

Within my once simple and clean apartment were rose petals scattered across the floor leading to my room, confused and frightened I slowly pull my pistol from my purse and turning it off of safety as I stepped into the apartment and closed the door.

Once the door was shut and locked I began to walk further into the living space my eyes narrowed and nerves on edge. I avoided stepping on any of the petals uncertain if there is any traps hidden under the soft crimson leaves.

I stopped just short of my bedroom door tensing up as a faint glow emitted from under the door. Letting out a soft exhale I quickly stepped in front of my door and kicked it open. As the wooden barrier flew open I saw a tall and slender figure standing within my room, on reflex I ran forward and swung my gun at their head. They turned around quickly and caught my wrist centimeters before the gun made contact with their head.

I heard them let out a low chuckle as they shook their head.

“You know it's not very nice to try and knock someone unconscious.”  They spoke with a teasing yet familiar tone. My eyes widened as I shook my head and stared up into his hazel(?) eyes.

Shocked I was only able to mutter one name.

“Felix?”
