"Okay. First of all, why does everyone seem to know who I am?" Ellie asked crossing her arms. The man looked at her blankly before laughing.

"Ellie, you're home! We've been waiting for sixteen years to bring you home." Ellie looked at him blankly.

"I uh..don't understand..." she said slowly looking back and forth between Chuck and the man. He laughed again and walked up to her.

"Excuse me for not properly introducing myself. I am formally known as Christopher Moss, the Headmaster here at Tech 7. But to you, I am your father. Your biological father. Joel has brought you back to me, and he will be greatly rewarded by doing so." Christopher said. Ellie glared at him a bit, not completely believing him. She did a bit though because they had the same intense grey eyes. Ellie noted it as soon as she looked at him for the first time. Though she always had thought that she got her grey eyes from her mother.

"That is if he doesn't die first." Ellie said directing the conversation from the father daughter aspect of it. Christopher smiled a bit and walked over to the table before grabbing a remote. He clicked a button and Joel appeared in a hologram floating above the table. Ellie walked over next to Christopher looking at the hologram in awe. "This is some next level futuristic stuff. And I thought Tesla's were cool." Ellie said quietly. Christopher laughed a bit.

"Joel is in good hands. He'll be up and moving before this time tomorrow for sure." Christopher said. "For now, lets get you a room. You must be exhausted from dealing with the police and the clickers." He said directing her back to the door. Once they stood at the door Ellie looked up at him.

"What are the clickers? And again, how do you people know everything about me?" She asked. Christopher laughed and patted her shoulder.

"I will answer all of your questions later on my child. Now you go get some rest. I will send someone to come and get you in the morning." He said before leading her out of the door and then shutting it. Chuck grunted a bit and walked back to the elevator with Ellie following close behind.

"He's not really my father, is he?" She asked as they climbed into the elevator. Chuck looked at her.

"Of course he is. You can tell by just lookin at the two of you." He answered crossing his arms. Ellie went quiet and just nodded a bit. If he was her father, why didn't he send someone to get her earlier? As the elevator doors slid back open, Phillip greeted them smiling. He looked much more cheerful than earlier.

"I can take her from here Chuck." He said holding his hand out to her. Ellie looked at him a bit warily before grabbing his hand. Phillip gently pulled her out of the elevator and Chuck huffed.

"Do you have to hit on every girl that comes through here?" He said rolling his eyes. Phillip gave him a look and started walking down the corridor with Ellie close in tow.

"I'm not hitting on her, I'm being a gentleman." He answered behind his shoulder. Ellie looked at Phillip and smiled at him. He had beautiful chocolate skin and dark curly hair that went a little past his ears. His eyes were a glowing amber, that would make any girl basically melt. Total charmer. Why she hasn't realized this before, she had no clue. Phillip led her down the corridor before stopping in front of a room that had a big 51 on it. The door slid open and he let go of her hand before walking inside. Ellie followed Phillip into it and looked around the room. In the far left corner there was a grey metal bed with a blanket neatly folded on the mattress. On the opposite wall was a desk with a hologram remote sitting on it. The far wall was completely covered up with a mirror and Ellie glanced at herself in it. Her light brown shoulder length hair stuck up in odd places, and she felt the urge to fix it. She was also covered in dirt and her jeans were ripped in places. Speckles of blood covered her shirt and jeans from carrying and then dropping Joel. Phillip turned and smiled at her. "Welcome to your sleeping quarters!" He said. Ellie sat down on the bed and noticed that it was way more comfortable than it looked.
