Chapter 7

Cameron's P.O.V.

I was sitting on the patio chair playing 2048, when I smelled something. Then it was gone. But i felt a presence leave with it.

Then it dawned on me that I could only feel one presence as strong as theone I felt.

"Fuck." I cursed, then laughed because she wasn't here to yell at me.

I took off after the smell and sent my Beta a message via mind link.

Cameron:Terence left, I'm going to go find her. Watch the pack for me?

Paul: Of course Alpha!

Cameron: I should be back soon.

Paul: Don't worry, Alpha. Take your time!

I shake my head, I think he secretly likes being in charge.

Laughing, I had followed her scent all the way to a freaking mansion.

I walk inside and realize that it's a party.

Catching her fading scent, I see her dancing on a table top with her friend.

A bunch of guys are around them, but I mean who wouldnt?

Terence is looking hot as hell with her red lips that match her shirt and shoes. Don't even get me started on how good her ass looks in her leggings.

Snapping myself out of trance, I make my way towards them. Pushing the guys out of the way.

I reach out for Terence's hand and feel the sparks shoot throughout my body. I'm pretty sure she felt it too since she sobered up a bit. Grabbing her friends hand, I pull them off the table.

A bunch of protests from the guys surrond us.

Terence's P.O.V.

As Cameron pulls us off the table, the guys that were around us start to protest.

One of the guys had reached out for Tonia.

Growling, I look up to tell the guy off.

When I see who it is and look at the possesive look on his face I start to panic.

"Nononononono.." I mumble to myslef.

Then as if to reassure himself, Jason says the one word I didn't want to hear.

"Mate." and as he says it, his arms tigten around Tonia's waist and she lets out a little shreik.

"She's human idiot!" I yell at him.

Suprised he loosens his hold on her.

"Cameron, can you get me a glass of water and take Tonia with you to find some advil?" I ask my mate, sensing that I wanted to talk to Jason he agrees.

Taking Tonia by the hand, he leads her to the kithcen.

Facing Jason I say the only thing a best friend would say to her best friends boyfriend.

"You better treat her right."

Imparently he wasn't listening to a word I was saying since he kept on mumbling to himself.

"This can't be right. It's supposed to be you. That's what it said. I can't be mates with a human, I can't. That's wrong. Please tll me it's not true..." he whispers the last part, looking at me with pleading eyes.

"It's true. Tonia's your mate and Cameron is mine." I said, crushing his dreams. "I don't see what the problem is anyway. It's not like you even liked me."
